A home from home, offering comfortable, spacious holiday accommodation for large families and groups. The property is easily accessed, only 15 minutes from the M4 motorway. From it's position in the heart of the Gower peninsular you can then easily reach the sandy beaches, secluded coves, coastal paths and breathtaking scenery of the Gower, Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Old Joinery is perfect for large families, or 2 families to stay with flexible accommodation that will give you privacy but also plenty of space for socialising, both inside and out. It offers plenty of parking, a large garden and exterior games room with pool table, table tennis, dart board, air hockey table and even bikes. The house is also well located for walking and is within 200 metres of a flat tarmacked cycle path providing safe and enjoyable access all the way to Swansea Bay and the Mumbles. It is easy to get to on a Friday evening, only 15 minutes from the M4. It is also a great base from which to explore the Gower and City of Swansea. The Gower Peninsula is a wonderful place to visit and offers something for everyone, from adrenaline junkies who can enjoy the surfing and coasteering to those looking for a more relaxing times.
The vibrant city of Swansea itself is approximately 5 miles with many restaurants, bars, shops and marina. Swansea is also home to the LC2, Wales' biggest indoor waterpark providing great entertainment for kids of all ages. The Gower also provides many places of historical interest including several well preserved Norman Castles including Oystermouth Castle in Mumbles.
The Old Joinery has a shop and pub within easy walking distance a shopping centre with excellent Butcher, Baker and supermarkets within 5 minutes drive.

The Gower was the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK which means that it has the same levels of protection as a National Park. Gower's rich and diverse scenery ranges from sand dunes in the north to the twisting limestone coastline with dramatic cliffs and beautiful beaches along the south coast.

It offers some great days out for families with something for all ages, from sedate walks along the flat promenade around Swansea Bay, or easy days on the beach to adrenaline fueled adventures coasteering around the more rugged hidden gems of the southern shoreline.

Award-winning beaches, dramatic coast, rolling downs, and traditional Welsh villages make the Gower the perfect place to unwind and recharge your batteries.

Dunvant

The Old Joinery in positioned in the centre of the Gower peninsular, 3 miles west of Swansea. It's the perfect jumping off point to explore the Gower and further afield.

The house has also has 9 bikes in various sized available for visitors to borrow (at your own risk) and a flat tarmacked path starts within 300 metres of the house from which you can travel in safety and ease into the City of Swansea, or out to Swansea Bay, Mumbles, Limeslade and Bracelet bays.
