Salad Days offers luxurious accommodation at Dunster Beach with the charm of old England where the pace of Somerset allows you to escape everyday life and relax. Designed for couples only, this Visit England 5 star self-catering, boutique beach hut is one of England’s best kept secrets, bordering Exmoor National Park and the Somerset coast it offers a unique luxury in a beach hut environment. Relax and unwind while overlooking the tranquil nature reserve just metres from the beach or soak up the atmosphere of medieval Dunster with its charming Yarn Market and stunning Castle. The accommodation offers; underfloor heating, en-suite with shower, king size bed, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, fridge etc. lounge with dining area, front and back fenced gardens with seating, sun loungers & bike racks. All electric, towels, linen and a welcome pack supplied within the price. If more than one week is booked fresh towels and linen will be provided each week. Salad Days is the ideal base to explore Somerset, Devon, Exmoor National Park, Quantock Hills and the surrounding areas of South West England. 1 week bookings only are available on TripAdvisor, we also do 3 & 4 night breaks if booked direct.

We are dog friendly and do not charge for your dog staying with us, but please let us know if you want to bring more than 1 to ensure we can accommodate them.

“Better than our expectations”

The photos and description of Salad Days were fabulous, but we were so enchanted from the minute we arrived and saw it for ourselves. Brett and Susan had thought of everything, even Toby dog had his own welcome pack. I would have no hesitation in recommending Salad Days. We had a great week, and will certainly be returning. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
