Benvue Villa is situated on the shore line of the village of Sandbank, in the Holy Loch, 3 miles from the coastal town of Dunoon. This 150 year old Victorian Villa has been restored to its former glory over the past 5 years. Solid oak floors, open ornate fireplace, wood panelled doors and stunning cornices add old world charm to modern furnishings. This luxury property sleeps 8 persons comfortably between 3 double and 1 twin bedroom.The twin bedroom is situated on ground floor level. The villa has 2 bathrooms one with walk-in shower and one with old fashioned bath, one is on the stair half landing and the other on the first level (no ground floor bathrooms).

Two lounges allow you to have a relaxing quiet room and the other has freeview TV and a music system, both overlook the Holy Loch. The dining room is open plan connecting with the TV lounge. The positioning of the garden allows you sunshine all through the day and is one of the house's main features, absolutely stunning.

Dunoon

The ferry trip across the Firth of Clyde is a fine introduction to the Cowal Peninsula. To the north the mountains surrounding the sea lochs of Long and Goil provide a stunning backdrop as the ferry arrives at the busy town of Dunoon, Cowal's principal community, which has an excellent choice of accommodation, shopping and eating out. Built around two sheltered bays, and with wonderful views over the water, Dunoon is also the seaboard gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Dunoon is the lively gathering place for the whole Cowal area. The town offers a museum and leisure centre as well as a fascinating selection of craft shops, galleries, and cafes. The opportunity to take a pleasure cruise amidst the breathtaking coastal scenery of the Firth of Clyde should not be missed.

“Excellent Property - Marvellous Location”

We stayed here for five days in August and could not have asked for more . The property is beautifully presented , spacious and well equipped and has great views over Holy Loch and beyond . We had a great time here and will return .
