Dunoon is the main town with many amenities for all ages. There are opportunities for golf, fishing, mountain biking, quad biking, walking, kayaking, and there are many restaurants and small cafes to visit, as well as the museum and swimming pool. There are many day and half-day outings to be had, including a visit to the Old Jail at Inveraray, the Kilmartin Glen, the gothic mansion of Mount Stuart and the Hollow Mountain of Loch Awe.

Dunoon

Situated 10 minutes drive from the main town of Dunoon, Rashfield is a small hamlet with farm, a few houses, and a couple of lodges. Rashfield Sheilings a beautiful place to stay and capture the sun from morning until night. To the east the forested slopes of the Argyll Forest rise majestically, whilst to the West lies the Eachaig Valley and hills just beyond. A short walk brings you to the famous Pucks Glen, the Benmore Botanical Gardens and Loch Eck beyond. A 5 minute drive brings you to the Cothouse Inn, local shop, filling station and onwards to the shores of the Holy Loch and Nature Reserve. There is an abundance of bird and wildlife in these parts. “Fantastic cabin for two”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2017

The cabin is decorated very well and appears very new. It is situated near to Dunoon at Pucks Glen. The scenery is beautiful in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this to a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

“Amazing break”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2014

I stayed here with my Fiancee for 4 days and we had a fantastic time, The cabin was perfect and the log burner was more than enough to keep us warm. We enjoyed the break so much we have booked again for a week in April and are looking forward to arriving and seeing the fantastic view from the cabin and the peace and quiet.
