From the owner

Browne's Townhouse in the centre of Dungarvan.. This self- catering accommodation was refurbished in 2016. Originally built in 1822, we have retained 'boutique' old world elegance but combined it with the modern convenience of wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen, 3 great bathrooms and a fabulous patio. Dungarvan is renowned for its excellent restaurants, pubs and coffee shops - all at your doorstep. With two playgrounds in town, tennis courts and a bowling green. The beach is just 3 miles outside town. Dungarvan is surrounded by lovely local towns such as the historic village of Ardmore and the picturesque town of Lismore.

There are 3 golf courses in Dungarvan and Kayaking, surfing, sailing and fishing nearby. We have a downstairs bedroom for the less mobile together with a wetroom and disability parking right outside the door.

Babysitting can be arranged. A local mini bus can pick up groups from the house and bring you to Ardmore for a night out.

We cannot accommodate hens, stags or party weekends at this property as this is a residential area.

We have pristine white sheets, so if you are concerned about tan please bring your own bedlinen.

I am really sorry that you were disapointed with your stay in August 2020. This would not reflect our general feedback. However, I had taken all your points on board and repainted sections of the house. The damaged couch happened just before your visit and as we have back to back bookings there was no time to rectify it. It has since been fully reupholstered. The sanitiser unit on the stairs has an on/off switch and was in the off position when we checked the house on your departure. The house dates from 1880 and I have kept the living room in keeping with that with furnishings. which were obviously not to your taste. I have however had a number of wedding parties take photos from that room, as they do like the style of it. The dishwasher was under guarantee but unfortunately they did not send a repair man during your stay. None of the above issues were brought up with me, while you were there...some of them could have been easily rectified had I been made aware of them. I do my utmost to make sure guests enjoy there stay.

How do damage deposits work?

If Naoive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
