Description from owner

Beautifully presented modern family holiday villa, with 3 bedrooms in the historic seaside village of Broughty Ferry, near Dundee, on the east coast of Scotland. The property can comfortably sleep a family group of up to 6. The master bedroom is en suite. A modern kitchen is well equipped and the comfortable lounge leads onto a sunny balcony with harbour views.

The location is ideal; Broughty Ferry has all the amenities you could need, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants (family & fine dining). The property is a short walk from the village centre, and also from the harbour, beach and children's playpark.

Nearby Dundee (10 minute drive) has all the facilities of a modern city, and the redeveloped waterfront area will soon be home to the V&A museum.

“Excellent Accommodation”

A lovely town house in Broughty Ferry. Very well presented and a good location. Broughty Ferry was the perfect place to stay - the local beach is beautiful and a short drive into Dundee. We trained into Edinburgh for the Festival and to Perth as well. The "Ferry" has lots of small interesting shops as well as a good selection of restaurants, pubs and food shops. The house had everything you might need from toys for children to clothes pegs! The owners have really thought about what people might require when staying away as well as information about all the equipment and how to use it.. They were very helpful and had also left lots of information about the locality in the house. A really good find!

“Great rental house, great location”

We stayed for 10 days at the Villa during a trip to the UK from Canada, and we really enjoyed our visit. Lynn was waiting for us when we arrived, and was so very welcoming despite our late arrival. The Villa is very well-equipped, thoughtfully organized and very comfortable (we were 3 adults and 2 children). All the appliances are in good working order and everything was very clean. The Villa is well situated, in the centre of Broughty Ferry, near the shops and the wonderful playground, castle and beach. Despite this, it is also quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return during our next visit to the UK.

“Return to Broughty Ferry!”

I have childhood memories of the location and it was STILL one of those unspoilt uncommercialised spots, REAL PEOPLE REAL SHOPS. The accomodation was spotless and we were given a warm welcome by the owner. The location was handy for the shops, restaurants and pubs! If self catering there are no end of excellent local deli's, fishmongers and butchers with LOCAL PRODUCE. The location also gave a good quiet nights sleep. So many places are within easy reach, MUST DO Tentsmuir Forest, Jessies Tea Room (B Ferry) Edzell / Glen Esk with Tweedies Tea room in Edzell. The Fishermans Pub has a traditional music night on Thursday.
