The Sholly Shack is very much a laid back type of beach house. Boasting a newly rebuilt Shack and Rumpus Room, it has ALL the facilities in place to make your time away an absolute pleasure.

Absolute beachfront, airconditioned Dundee Beach accommodation with a 6m pool overlooking the beach. Kitchen, coffee machines + BBQ facilities, huge entertainment verandah. Accommodates up to 13 people and we are pet friendly.

The Shack main accommodation section is compact (sleeps 5, 6 at a pinch) but an enormous undercover verandah is the centre of all your Dundee activities. The Rumpus Room there to enjoy a movie or your favourite sports shows. For over 5 guests we have an airconditioned Sholly Shed comprising 3 rooms(2 Queen beds and 3 single beds + separate loo and shower). POA

The verandah overlooks a 6 metre pool which in turn looks over the beautiful Fog Bay.

It is an easy walk down to beaches and a short 5 minute drive to the boat-ramp and the Lodge

The real beauty of Mermaid Circuit is the peace and quiet, being a little way from the "pub" ensures that you will not be bothered by anyone else.

In "The Dry" its glorious blue skies and balmy "The Wet" it is magnificent, it is actually our favourite time of the year! But no matter what time you visit you will be able to have a "coldie" and float around in the pool knowing that this is definitely one of the best spots in the country.

A very relaxing place to be. Pool was wonderful to jump in and out of all day in the heat. The beach house was really well ventilated and we only had to use the fans, although there is air con if needed. I loved all the extras like the ice maker and coffee machines, and the kids loved the x-box. The shack has a wonderful lived in feel. I was disappointed that I couldn't walk straight onto the beach as there is a cliff with a 4-5m drop. However, we found a place that we could climb down to the beach which was really exciting and added a sense of adventure to our holiday. Loved the verandah and the great views form it.

“A great getaway destination to recharge the batteries”

The wife and I live in Perth, and needed a mid year break. It was by pure luck we were recommended the Sholly Shack. The weather was incredible, we arrived at night and it was warm enough for a refreshing swim. In the morning we woke up to the most beautiful view of the ocean. The mood was set!!! So you know all about this place, it is the holiday house that you would wish for if you had the means, it has a great family vibe, and 10 years ago I would have loved to do a family holiday there. A lot of thought has gone into making your holiday great, we flew in from interstate, so we only had out cloths and towels. We stopped at Coolaloola to do our food shopping, but all the little things you take for granted and wouldn't think about were there, such as salt, pepper oil, even tin foil and glad wrap and snap lock bags. I hired a boat and caught some of the most amazing mud crabs, they had everything there that we needed to cook them, plenty of fridge and freezer space and a great ice maker machine, But most importantly it has a coffee machine, so take ground coffee to your taste. The wife and I were so relaxed and it is quite private for that all over sun tan if you like. Darwin in winter there is no better spot, no rain and lots of clear blue skies. You will not believe the sun sets, incredible night after night. I will be saving up for our holiday next year at the Sholly Shack.

The accommodation and facilities were great with an outstanding view of the beach. our visit was for business and it was our colleges first time to Dundee Beach and they loved it!!! Thank you and will definitely book at the Jolly Shack again.
