Picture yourself relaxing on a huge and beautiful deck, absolutely surrounded by nature - hills, trees, river - because that's exactly what you get at Riverside Retreat, this sweet riverfront cottage in picturesque Duncans Mills. The entire side of the house facing the river is windows, to maximize views of the river and the natural beauty all around this home. The open floorplan allows for breathtaking views almost everywhere inside the house. A woodburning stove provides a cozy way to enjoy the views any time of year. If you manage to spend any time inside, you'll find comfortable furniture, and soothing colors. And, of course, great views. The multi-layered deck provides lots of additional space for eating, lounging, reading, bird-watching - you name it! You'll find everything you need in this charmingly rustic, but well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, tree views, soft lighting, and a lovely antique dresser. The *dock is accessed by stairs at the edge of the property and it’s the perfect spot to launch a kayak, or just watch the river roll by. Amenities: one bedroom with queen-sized bed, sleeping loft (suitable for older children), one full bath,riverfront, large lawn, hot tub, gas grill, outdoor furniture, wall of windows with views of river and hills, cable TV in living room, wireless internet, access free long-distance phone calls ,VCR and DVD player, stereo with CD player and iPod audio jack, wood-burning stove, full kitchen with microwave, blender, coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster-oven, washer/dryer, hammock, gorgeous scenery, 1 double kayak (seasonal - email for details) *dock (seasonal - email for details) PRICING & AVAILABILITY DETAILS: - Pricing includes 14% Sonoma County Tax. Please inquire and we will provide you with the appropriate quote (including all fees & tax). - One week minimum during high-season (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend) Christmas and Thanksgiving have 4-7 right minimum, President's Day and Columbus Day holidays have 3-night minimum. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
