Set within the extensive grounds of Broxmouth Park, the Head Gardener's Luxury Holiday Cottage provides opulent holiday accommodation in exclusive surroundings. With four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people (in addition the master bedroom has a sofa bed which can be requested on booking) the recently re-designed cottage is well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. With one hundred and fifty acres of unspoiled landscape, Head Gardener's Cottage provides a perfect holiday location.

Broxmouth is only a stones throw from the beach, there are several golf courses within the local area, a swimming pool with it's own wave machine, leisure facilities and highly acclaimed restaurants, bars and shops. The coastal region also provides numerous walkways, coastal paths and opportunities for surfers, body boards and snorkelers alike.

Local attractions include the Museum of Flight which provides tours aboard Concorde, the Seabird Centre, Foxlake Adventures, East Links Family Park just to mention a few.

“Fantastic cottage!”

Fantastic stay here - perfect for a group of 8 girls away for the weekend. Beds were comfy and whole place is so spacious! The hot tub was an added bonus. Thanks so much!

I think whilst some of the points you raised were valid and some, including the general tone of the review, were completely unfounded. The Cottage is rented for many weeks each year and we receive a great deal of positive feedback about the property. On your arrival the Cottage was dressed for Christmas with a real tree and a garland up the stairs. The Cottage was both cosy and festive. We have now placed a supply of games into the Cottage. We have also replaced one of the sofas in the drawing room and had one of the showers completely redone as evidenced by the attached photos. With regard to using the boat, this is a private boat and is not available for general use as I am sure you can appreciate. You were also in contact with us a few times, both before and during your stay and we didn't hesitate to promptly answer your questions and promptly address any issues raised. The compendium with all the information regarding the Cottage was always in the house and I am sorry that you didn't find this immediately. We value our customer's tremendously and it really matters to us that they have a lovely time and we are sorry that this was not your experience. Susan

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Simon Flame (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
