Close to Edinburgh (25ml) Very Quiet Location. 2 Bedrooms, Excellent Lounge, High Quality Kitchen, Very Elegant Bathroom, Minstrel Gallery, 2 bedrooms with combed ceilings.Central Heating, Lawn at front, rear garden with patio and shrubs, garden furniture and BBQ. Logs available from owner. Storage shed for cycle + outdoor eqt. Located close to DUNBAR and local attractions - Championship Golf, Surfing, John Muir Country Park, Sailing, Rock Pools, Water Sports, First Class Beaches all nearby. Dunbar is frequently one of the most sunniest places in Scotland.
Local historical places of Interest include 700 year old Dunbar Castle .

THE LOUNGE IS VERY COMFORTABLE, COSY AND INVITING. The log fire is available by request, and can add to the traditional atmosphere. Hours can be spent wathing the birds on both the large front lawn and private rear gardens.
The kitchen is a very relaxing room - most people enjoy hours just sitting by the table and watching the birds in both front and rear gardens.
The batroom is high quality, spacious and very warm!!
The bedrooms accommodate 2 adults comfortably. (Sofa bed -double provided in lounge). Additionally, a cot (baby bed) can be provided next to the main bedroom - PLEASE CONFIRM SPECIFIC NEEDS WITH OWNER PRIOR TO BOOKING/OCCUPANCY.
The ceilings on the upper floor are mostly coombed, with exposed beams, dormer and velux windows.
The bedrooms have a rustic charm with sanded and stained wooden floors. All bed linen (Egyptian Cotton) - is provided as are towels.
Both bedrooms have a central heating radiator.
All windows are double glazed.
Adequate provision of power sockets.
The smaller bedroom overlooks the main lawn to the front of the property and the larger bedroom overlooks the rear garden.
The gallery can easily accommodate a cot (baby bed) next door to the larger bedroom.
The floors are sanded with rugs.

Bring walking shoes to access the the immediate walking area and to allow you to observe the wildlife!!

Lovely cottage in a pretty area. Very well equipped and clean. Towels and bedding provided which is great.

We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing break in this wonderful cottage. It is clear that the cottage is well loved as it has been maintained to a very high standard and every eventuality is catered for. On arrival , it was clean and welcoming and we were thrilled by the thoughtful welcome pack left for us. Dougie and Christine are both very friendly and on hand should there be any queries and happy to point guests to good places to visit etc. As we had teens with us , the use of wifi was a bonus! The surrounding area is breathtaking and we managed to find plenty of walks to suit us as well as day trips to keep everyone happy. We really hope to return again soon and we can not recommend this cottage highly enough.

Very well presented and equiped cottage with the owners going the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. The friendly and knowledgeable Dougie and Christine were helpful and free with advice and suggestions about places and attractions in the area. We went to so many places and saw so much I could not mention it all. The R.I.B. trip from North Berwick out to the Bass Rock was, for us, a amazing experience, wet, salty,cold and fast, but to see(and smell) 120,000 Gannets wheeling and diving around us was unforgettable. Another day was spent in Edinburgh where the Museum took up two thirds of the day and we did not see it all.
