Description

​Ashwick Hayloft is a lovely semi-detached converted barn situated in the hamlet of Ashwick near Dulverton. The property has been renovated to a high standard and is fitted with quality fixtures and furnishings. Just a short distance from the famous Tarr Steps and open moorland, Ashwick Hayloft is an ideal property for exploring Exmoor.

Entrance is through a hallway with toilet and shower room situated under the stairs, into the main living area with two sofas and a large TV with DVD player. The dining table comfortably seats four people and beyond is the well-equipped kitchen. A central staircase leads upstairs to two bedrooms, one with King-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet and hand basin). The second bedroom has twin beds and en-suite comprised of large shower, toilet and hand basin.

Ashwick Hayloft kitchen is fitted with fridge/freezer, electric oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, cookware,

A television (with Freeview) and DVD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property.

A cot and/or high chair is available; please request these items when booking so we can make sure they are present for your arrival.

Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Ashwick Hayloft has central heating which can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Bed linen is not supplied for the cot.

The water supply comes from natural spring.

There is a small outside seating area (not enclosed) at the far end of the property with a picnic bench. An allocated off-road parking space is situated beside the property.

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of £25 will be added to your invoice. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time.

Ashwick Hayloft is strictly non-smoking.

​Ashwick Hayloft is less than 3 miles from Dulverton, which is known as the Southern Gateway to Exmoor and is also home to the head quarters of the Exmoor National Park. There are several streets of shops in Dulverton including a butcher, bank, Post Office, fish & chip shop, greengrocer, late-opening supermarket, art gallery, hairdressers, guns and fishing tackle shop. There are also a number of quality boutiques, interesting gift shops plus a handful of lovely restaurants, tea rooms and pub.

The property is available for week-long bookings from Friday to Friday. The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests. Please see the availability page for further details.
