Deerfield is a gated family-friendly community with its own golf course, landing strip, pool, tennis courts and clubhouse. Head to the Deerfield Marina to enjoy the Tiki Hut, known for fun, great food and beverages. Some marinas do rent boats, jet skis, and watertoys so you can explore Norris Lake. You’ll be 1 hour from Knoxville, 1.5 hours from Gatlinburg and surrounded by state parks.

The kitchen provides a Keurig coffee maker and complimentary pods, a brewing coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kitchen knives, waffle maker, mixer, cutting boards, pans and baking dishes of all kinds, complimentary spices including salt and pepper, complimentary oils and vinegar, along with all the little things that will make it a great stay.

Seek fresh air on the back deck, where you can relax on the outdoor furniture while you gaze at the scenery. Bring meals outside for an al fresco dining experience and hang out until the stars come out.

Plan a hike along the Cumberland Trail, which winds through 11 Tennessee counties on the eastern escarpment of the Cumberland Plateau. Pack a picnic for a scenic meal on a lookout point!
