“Cosy accommodation with Fantastic host”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2016

We loved our stay at Come Ben the Hoose. The house itself has everything you could possibly need, and the beds and shower are great. What really sets this place apart is the wonderful hostess Ann. She went out of her way to make us welcome and to provide us with all the information we needed. She was incredibly kind to our kids, lending them scooters, and supplying some games that they really enjoyed. We all loved the fabulous welcome package too. The location is really handy to town and also the lovely Portobello Beach. Loved everything about our stay.

Thank you, I am pleased that you loved our Portobello's beach, promenade the shop, cafe's and restaurants as much as I do. There is a lot more to Edinburgh than the castle and city centre. It was great having you stay at Come Ben the Hoose.

Sin duda volvería a Come Ben the Hoose y ojalá hubiese podido quedarme más tiempo. Gracias por todo.

Thank you. It was lovely meeting you and your lovely family and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Edinburgh and Scotland. We hope you will come back again. Best Ann

“Look no further, THIS IS THE BEST”

Reviewed 20 May 2012

Come Ben the Hoose was everything we were looking for. It was close to the city serviced by a great bus service which meant no parking problems in the city. Ann and Gordon were excellent hosts. The property was very well equipped had everything you could possible want in the way of utensils etc. We were also able to make use of the garden when the sun shone. On arrival we found a welcome pack left by the owners which had everything we needed from bread and butter to fresh fruit not forgetting the cool beer in the fridge. For our first cuppa Ann had even provided some of her home baking, where else would you get this personal service? The cost of our hire was really good value for money and I think it would be dificult to find its equal. We will certainly go back to "Come Ben the Hoose" and I would urge you to snap up this property if you want home from home comforts at a very affordable price. I would recommend this holiday rental where you will find a very clean and comfortable property and a new friend in your host. Grab it quick!
