Renovated in January 2013, with a beautiful view over the canal 'George's Dock', the apartment is perfect for visiting Dublin (all places of interest within walking distance) or as a base for day trips to other cities: Connolly Station (central Station metro / train) is only 50m away. Busaras (Central Station bus) is 100m away.

The apartment is on the 5th floor with lift, South facing, bright, and located in a private, safe and quiet block, built literally on the canal George's Dock. USEFUL INFO

Dublin is renowned for its festive atmosphere and the friendliness of its people. The many lively pubs available in the city are usual destination for tourists looking for enjoyable hours and some 'Craic'. But Dublin is not only nightlife... Many places are well worth a visit (Trinity College, the National Museum, the Botanic Gardens, the shopping areas of Grafton Street and Henry Street) there is something for everyone!

The Province of Leinster region

The apartment is super central being located in the best area of Dublin 1. From the apartment you can reach O'Connell Street in less than 10 minutes walk, Trinity College and Temple Bar in 15 minutes walk. Also, in about 10 minutes walk you can reach the Convention Centre.

The East of Ireland offers many things to do and visit... Dublin, of course, but also the Royal County Meath, with its historical sites is well worth a visit: Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, the river Boyne are places where Irish history has been made. Not to be missed either is County Wicklow, so called The Garden of Ireland for its beautiful landscapes (fantastic for hikers and walk lovers!)

Dublin

Dublin is the best base to visit the East of Ireland with its good network of public transports. Just outside the apartment's complex you can jump on the metro/train (Connolly Station) or on one of the many buses passing by (Busaras Bus station 100 metres away) to enjoy daily trips in the surrounding area. Don't miss Howth and its seals living in the bay... or a day in the Phoenix Park (one of the largest city parks in Europe) and its amasing zoo!

“I wish I didn't have to rate this place”

And the reason for that is because it was so excellent. I hate to share such a great apartment because it will become so much in demand that I may not be able to book in the future. It was close to everything, walking distance from downtown and all the attractions, the bus station..making it possible to go anywhere in Ireland, touristy shops and great pubs. Just wish I didn't have to go home. Mauro is an excellent landlord..helpful, patient, and welcoming...he even made sure there was a blender for my morning smoothie!
