The area these apartments are in is a residential area of Rathmines just outside the Dublin City Centre. We offer free weekly cleaning, towel and linen services for all our apartments. All apartments have access to Dublin maps, ideal for helping you plan trips about the city.

The charm of this area is that it is so close to good shopping with the peace and quiet of a residential area. Local shops include a variety of delis, pharmacy, net cafe, sandwich bar, and a late shopper food store. A park, complete with children's apparatus, is less than a 5 minute walk away.

A further 5 minute walk will bring you to the busy area of Lower Rathmines Road, where the Swan Shopping Centre, Tescos, Xtravision, beauty salons, clothes and electronic shops are all located. There is a wide variety of high quality restaurants, from Chinese to Italian to Thai.

Further afield, an 18-hole golf course, beaches, horse-back riding facilities and areas to fish are all within 10km. Forested parks are close, and there is evening entertainment and pubs all close enough to walk to.

“A totally wonderful experience!”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2016

There are not enough words to adequately describe our stay at Rathmines Apt 1. We arrived tired and weary from a long flight, and were cheerfully greeted by Elaine and her colleagues. Even though guests had checked out earlier that morning, our apartment was ready ahead of schedule - which was a great blessing. The apartment has everything one could want for a lovely stay in Dublin. So much better than a hotel room because we had room to breathe! It truly was a home away from home. The kitchen was fully furnished, and we were provided with eggs, milk, butter, bread, juice, and even chocolate cookies. There is a grocery store 30 seconds away, and all variety of restaurants within easy walking distance. When Elaine found out that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, a bottle of champagne and box of chocolates suddenly showed up at our front door. If you are planning a trip to Dublin, you should look no further. We have traveled all over the world, and this was one of the best lodgings ever!

“Nice stay.”
