There are 2 courses, the Dunskey 18-hole, and the Dinvin 9-hole, which are a mixture of rolling moorland and seaside heath, at around 150 feet above sea level.

Wigtownshire County Golf Club is one of the most popular holiday courses in South West Scotland, situated on the shores of Luce Bay. The club enjoys a temperate climate and the club is renowned for its friendly welcome to visitors.

Stranraer Golf Club is situated on the shores of Loch Ryan, the 6308 yard parkland course is set on gently undulating ground. It affords exceptional views over the loch to Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran and beyond.

Walking
We are minutes from some of the best coastal walks in Dumfries and Galloway.

The southern Upland Way is a 212 mile walk covering some of the wildest landscapes in Scotland, from Portpatrick, east across Galloway to Beattock and on through the Borders to Cockburnspath in the east.

Mull of Galloway Walk - The circular route is marked and the visitor can either turn left or right when entering the reserve. Parts of this walk can take you close to the cliff edge where extreme care must be taken and good footwear is essential. The reserve at the Mull is one of the RSPB's smallest sites, yet it contains an amazing variety of wildlife.

Ardwell Pond Walk - From there you have wonderful views over Luce Bay, towards the Machars of Galloway and, in the distance, of the Galloway Hills. The Pond Walk is part of Ardwell Estate, and Ardwell Gardens. Walkers are welcome in all seasons, but the garden is closed from the end of September until Easter.
