Please be aware that you are not renting our whole house. You will have to share the kitchen, livingroom and bathroom with us and other guests! Our house is not wheelechair friendly! Be aware we are renovating our house. This means that it is possible that the pictures are outdated. We live near a lake and a park. This means you will be able to see insects and those horrible mosquitoes in and near our house. Behind our house we have pastures with cows running around. Which means you can smell them when the farmers work on their land. The smell is not coming from our house! Our house is 100 years old and you will feel and see it when you are here. Please make sure you read all the information on our listing, even all the bad reviews.

Room is ready from 3 pm, when guests wants to come earlier to drop off their luggage that's fine, but they still need to wait until 3 pm. You can smoke in your room, but you will have to do that with your window open!

“No regrets!”

Very kind and welcoming poeple who loves to take care of their guests! The house isn't far from Amsterdam and Schiphol Aéroport : 17min with metro to go at "Centraal Amsterdam" and 15min with train to go to Schiphol Aéroport. The house is next to water, it's à beautiful place, quieter than the city, which is good when you like the countryside! No regrets to had chose this family. Thanks again for all we don't forget you :)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Mars (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
