A charming 1930s, detached house in the style of a Station Master's house, sits in a garden of 4000m2, close by the main house, and set amongst the market gardens, olive groves, and with the river Nartuby, along one side of the grounds. Easy and private parking, and secure garaging for a car, or motorbikes, if desired. Just 3kms NW, from Draguignan, in a peaceful and private setting. It is the perfect place to venture between Mediterranean beaches, hills and mountains, the wonderful Gorges de Verdon and Lac Ste. Croix, and of course the popular hill villages like Lorgues, Fayence, Montauroux. Midway between Nice and Toulon airports, the high speed train (TGV) from London stops at Les Arcs which is a 20 minute drive away, and the A8 Auto-route is 15 minutes away. This is a family run venture, relaxed, friendly and welcoming, catering for the outdoor life and living in the Var countryside, with the hosts on hand to give advice and help, if needed.

The Provence region

The Var is the largest Department of Provence and the Cote d'Azur.

The local town, Draguignan has every amenity and is 40 minutes by car, between the beaches and towns on the Mediterranean, and the Lakes,the spectacular Gorges of Verdon, and mountains to the north.
A beautiful part of the world to cater for all tastes and ages,and the weather is warm from April through September, with July and August the hottest months, with temperatures in the mid 30s.
The sky is spectacularly clear and blue,which, with the love of an outdoor life, attracted a lot of famous painters to spend their time and lives in this region.

Draguignan

In a rural setting but just 2kms NE from the bustling town of Draguginan, lovely walking and biking are on the doorstep.
Nearby, there are beautiful hill villages, spectacular scenery, and many places of historic interest.
