A wonderfully light, spacious and airy, single level detached coastal bungalow, in the heart of Downderry village, Cornwall, with short stroll to the beach. 15 minutes drive from popular fishing town of Looe and quaint villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. South facing, with conservatory, ample garden with some sea views and mature trees. There is a large patio area with BBQ for alfresco dining/entertaining and large private paved driveway with parking for up to 4 cars. Additional patio seating area outside kitchen and under mature trees.

'Phoenix Rise' offers the perfect holiday retreat for all ages to enjoy with no worry or challenge of stairs. Two minute walk to local pub with panoramic sea terrace, well stocked shop, coffee house and tea bar and locally renowned restaurant and deli. Conveniently located on South West Coast path so ideal for walkers.

The bungalow has a spacious master bedroom with king size bed, large fitted wardrobe and en-suite with newly fitted walk in shower and toilet. There is ample room for travel cot if required. A travel cot is available upon request.

Second room has a double bed with fitted wardrobes and again enough room for travel cot if required. In the third bedroom there are two single beds with built in wardrobe. Generous sized living room leading in to conservatory dining area. The conservatory dining area leads directly into the garden and patio areas. Well equipped kitchen with all expected appliances, coffee machine, crockery and utensils with round dining table and good size fridge freezer. There is a separate utility room which has a second fridge/freezer, washing machine and space to store beach items, body boards/ buckets/spades etc.

Ample garden with mature trees offers additional shade and space for children to play or to sit and relax after a day on the beach.

My partner and I live just down the road in the village and so can be there to meet/greet and offer local tips/advice etc. when required. If we are away at the time of your visit there is a lock box so you can easily check yourselves in, but will ensure we are contactable via mobile and email. There will be someone locally available to help with any problems should they arise.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stuart and Natalia (the owner) a message.

If Stuart and Natalia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
