“Fabulous cottage in lovely St Ives”

Reviewed 9 May 2013

We are regular visitors to St Ives and finding the right accommodation in the perfect location is always high on our wish list and Happy Days Cottage fitted the bill perfectly. It is in a great location, just minutes from 3 great beaches, lovely cafes and shops. The Cottage felt very homely and stylish and is very well looked after. We loved going back to it at the end of the day. The slipper bath was a great hit with our 4 year of daughter as were the bunk beds! Happy Days Cottage is fitted with everything you could possibly need and is a real home from home. We had to drag our daughter kicking and screaming from it when we had to come home. The only disappointment was having to leave, but we will return. Book it, you will not be disappointed.

“St Ives our new fav place”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2013

After a long drive we'd have been happy with a shed !, however upon arriving we were blessed with this beautiful house, pristine and ready for our stay. The best beds ever so be ready for a proper nights sleep, every amenity and need catered for, including the kids. Location simply perfect, park up the car and no need to get in it again until home time, beaches to every side, a reasonably priced spa around the corner, great places to eat all around you and miles to walk. The perfect home from home for anyone wanting to escape and relax, we loved it and hope to return very soon.

“Fantastic long weekend”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2013

If you've been to St. Ives before, you'll know all about it's appeal - if not you really are missing out. Happy Days cottage is right where the action is and the only drawback of that is the parking! It's an old cottage that has been beautifully refurbished and generously equipped. In the kitchen, there wasn't anything we needed that couldn't be found in one of the drawers or cupboards. The lounge is cosy, especially with the wood burner on. Fuel was generously supplied. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the quality of linen and towels is top notch. The bathroom is also finished to an excellent standard although you definitely need to turn the extractor fan off at night (switch outside door for this). I could go on, but we honestly didn't have a single criticism of this place. Being lazy I don't normally bother to write reviews but like many people I always read them. The icing on the cake was the complimentary local product bag we got on arrival... although it didn't contain any icing. Or a cake. ;-)

“What a great holiday!!”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2012

It was our very first time visiting st ives and i have to say we were not sure what to expect but the place was stunning! crytal clear beaches on virtually every corner, which our kids were on every day :) and our accomodation was second to none, had an immediate wow factor as soon as we opened the door, it was clean, beautifully refurbished and needless to say we wanted for nothing,we had everything even for the beach,we didnt even need to buy buckets and spades! we only stayed for a week but could have easily stayed longer, cant wait till next year we will definitely be going back, and a massive thank you to everyone who helped to make our holiday a memorable one.
