“An awesome holiday escape, which lived up to all our expectations!”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2016

This was a charming flat and well worth the price. The host & hostess were quick with replies to any queries. The beach is literally just around the corner. The shops are close by - it was lovely exploring all the quaint & charming side streets and finding different ways to & from the harbour. The walk across the bay at low tide, is great but watch out for the sneaky thieving sea gulls who are partial to ice cream! We came by overnight train and the view between St Erth & St Ives is really beautiful - have your camera ready for some great shots. The fudge & cream teas are also amazing as is the fresh sea food. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and well worth repeating :))

“A haven by the sea!”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2013

We were in flat 3 which was absolutely blissful. I booked it as a surprise for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, he hadn't been to Cornwall before and we were working on quite a tight budget and he couldn't believe we were in such a wonderful cottage, location, and town! We could see the sea from our bedroom window, had a cosy sitting rooom for when the rain poured and were metres from the beach for running around the corner without shoes on before breakfast. It had everything we needed and although it was just the 2 of us, we could have had friends or a whole family there. Loved the box of spades and frisbees ready for action on the beach, and Tim and Rebecca were fantastic for every stage of sorting out the holiday. I can't recommend this highly enough! (the code on the door and key in a code safe meant we could arrive at 11pm without being a problem to anyone, and was a massive asset!)

“Lovely apartment, in a great location with everything you could need to enjoy St. Ives!”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2012

The apartment is in a great location for exploring St. Ives, just as described and is very well appointed. A few seconds walk behind the apartment, you are on the beautiful Porthmeor beach perfect for surfing and bodyboarding and few minutes further away is Porthminster beach ideal for swimming. The harbour, Tate, shopping and restaurant areas are all very close, and there are very pretty walks around. The apartment itself is really lovely, very clean and has everything you could need- it's clear a lot of thought has gone into it. There's a really well equipped kitchen, and lovely decor. We found the parking easy to find and didn't struggle to get a slot perhaps as we stayed in March, out of peak season. Would love to stay again, and would definitely recommend. Really hope to stay again!
