"Excellent facilities, will certainly visit again."

As one who would favour a hotel any time, on recommendation we gave Rosswood Cottage a try. What a surprise, the place was beautifully furnished, toasty, and spotless, I mean you could eat your dinner of the floor. The bedroom is finished with heavy curtains, comfortable mattress and fresh linen. It was beautifully quiet and the scenery is awesome. For those of us who cant be without our information technology, wifi is provided. Yes we will visit again.

"Magnificent property with incredible views"

I stayed in Rosswood Cottage recently for a couple of nights with 4 other friends. From the outside the house itself seems quite quaint but it has all the mod cons you'd expect of a modern house but with a cottage feel. The bedroom I stayed in was really comfortable and I couldn't really fault it. It was very clean and spacious and provided a great nights sleep. There is great WiFi throughout the house and there's also Sky TV for the rainier days. We didn't venture too far outside the cottage and the surrounding areas, just going as far as Donegal town to have a wander and pick up some bits and pieces in the shops but it seemed like a lovely area and nice spot to have a meal and a few drinks. However, Gareth provided a wealth of knowledge about the area and gave us loads of options had we decided to get out and about more. Speaking of which, Gareth was very pleasant and polite as well as easy going and very receptive and helpful to any queries we had about the house or the area and assured us he was always a phone call away should we have any issues or general queries (which we didn't!). One of the best selling points of the property though was the view, you could sit out on the patio and just relax and take it all in. I'd definitely recommend Rosswood Cottage as a perfect place to stay for a break from the city for a couple of days. It was a nice quiet area and just what we needed! We'll definitely return again in the summer and make use of that patio area for a sunny BBQ! Thanks for the great stay Gareth, we'll certainly be back!

Thank you so much conor for an amazing review of Rosswood Cottage... I am delighted you and your Group enjoyed your Break. Your right Views are amazing and the one common theme amongst all my Guests is the Peace and Quiet of the Area,, Many thanks again

"Fantastic"

On arrival we found this cottage very clean & tidy, it was perfect for our stay, with close proximity to Donegal town and surrounding towns. Very quiet country area, close to Rosnowlagh beach which was everything we expected and more. Gareth Brown was more than helpful offering us advice on where to eat etc and as we were attending a family wedding in Harveys point hotel, hairdresser & beautician had to be booked to, his advice & recommendations were perfect. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone thinking of staying near Donegal, it has everything!!

Thank you Anne for a lovely review.. you and your Family were a pleasure to have as Guests for 6 Nights. Hopefully see you back sometime in the near future.. I really appreciate Feedback, Have a Nice Christmas Kind Regards Gareth Browne (Owner)

"Little piece of heaven!"

Just finished a two night stay in Rosswood cottage with a group of Irish & Americans which including a 16 year old, 2 21 year olds and a senior. The house suited everyone. It was clean and comfortable. It was a 5 minute drive to Donegal town so it was easy to go out for a meal or ferry people in and out to pub. Lidl is down the road so all the supplies needed were in easy reach. Sitting on the deck with a cold beer and a view of Donegal Bay, what's not to like? We will definitely be going back.

Thank you so much for your Kind Words.. looking forward to Welcoming you back in the future.. I really appreciate Positive feedback

"Weekend Getaway"

Myself and my partner stayed in Rosswood cottage for a cosy break in February. We had no trouble finding the accomodation even though it is tucked away nicely in the Donegal countryside. We were delighted to find beautiful scenic surroundings and it was perfect for a quiet and relaxing break. The cottage itself was very spacious and presented to a very high standard. It had everything we needed, cooking and washing facilities, sky tv and a large selection of dvds, free wifi and lots of storage space for our things. We were only a few minutes drive to Donegal town where we found lots of really nice bars and restaurants to eat. We had access to local taxi and takeaway numbers which all came in very handy over the weekend and the services were great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rosswood and would recommend it to couples, families or small groups who are looking for a hassle free break away to a central location in Donegal. We will definitely be returning in the future!

"Gorgeous cottage with friendly owner and incredible views-remote feeling but close to town"

The cottage was big and clean, with a full kitchen, comfy living room equipped with sky tv and decent dvd collection. The setting feels very remote with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains, but its a very quick drive to the city center with many pubs, shops and grocery stores. My only recommendation would be to bring warm clothes if you're going in the spring, as the cottage heat is on a timer and it was very chilly our entire stay. We bundled up and cooking meals in the oven helped to provide warmth, but that wouldn't deter me from renting again. The owner is so nice and accommodating and after staying in 1 room hotels/B&Bs for a week finding your own cottage to spread out is a welcome!

Thanks Tara it was lovely having you and your guests staying at Rosswood Cottage. I am delighted you had a good time.. Thanks again

"perfect for the just perfect holiday"

The cottage is located in a beautiful secluded and peaceful location per fect for relaxing but near enough to Donegal town to enjoy the amenities of the town. The cottage is tastefully furnished with so much attention to detaIl. It was great to have tumble drier, sky television, excellent WI-FI and a rich collection of dvd bestsellers and books for rainy days. The owner was not only very professional but also friendly and welcomy. We liked everything of the house and the location and we honestly cannot find any fault at all. When we go back to Donegal we would love to stay in rosswood cottage again.
