This very spacious studio/loft is perfect for couples, friends or families with a large well maintained garden to relax in the shade or sun and a big terrace with sea views.

The space is enormous, 185 m2, or 2000 square feet. The flat is rented with absolutely every thing you will need while holidaying, even beach towels. And the cleaning is done by the owner so never a bad surprise on arrival.

The garden, terrace and courtyard are absolutely private with no one overlooking it.

Approximately 5 minute drive will take you to Estepona Marina , where you can watch the fishermen or take a short pleasure cruise, diving and dolphin watching are very popular. A 10 minute drive will also see you in the heart of pretty and still so Spanish Estepona with its old town and many shops, restaurants and bars.

Have a coffee in Orange Square in lovely and sophisticated Marbella, 30 minutes drive or raid your piggy bank and enjoy the sophisticated bars, clubs and restaurants that surround the Marina with it's multi million pound yachts at internationally famous Puerto Banus, 20 minutes drive.

Gibraltar is only 40 minutes from the house and is very interesting both for shopping and visiting!

On your arrival you will find a 16 pages memo (although it may be 17 pages long by then!) telling you where to eat, have fun, go for day's trip etc etc.

I live on site, although you will no see me during your stay as the house is divided into 2 totally independent ground floors, the house being on a hill, each with their own street entrance and garden.

The apartment has a large courtyard too, which is very practicable when you come back from the beach, you can leave all your stuff there and even rinse it as there is water.

Satellite TV: all German channels, French: TV5 Monde, France 24 et quelques chaines Marrocaines emettant en Français, BBC news, CNN and all international news channels and dozens more.

Internet acces is with optic fiber so you can watch movies on your tablet. The wifi is fast and good.

Everything you may need during your stay is at your disposition. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, a hair dryer and a DVD player. The bedding arrangement consists of a KING SIZE bed (1.80 X 2 meters) and two single beds (0.90 X 1.90 meters) which are only there if needed , the rest of the time they are stored in another part of the house.There is wifi/broadband access, so you can bring your portable computer along!

And if something particular is needed, as the owner lives on the premises you just need to ask !

The garden , approximatively 700 m2 or 7500 square feet, is totally closed and there is a large table and some bench to sit 6 on a adjacent tiled terrace so you'll be able to have breakfast, lunch & dinner outside whenever you wish. It will be yours totally during your stay, the owner has another garden on the next level. From the garden, while sunbathing, having a drink, or cooking a barbecue, you'll be able to enjoy sea view and views of the marina of Estepona.
The area is very quiet and no one will disrupt your holiday.
you'll be able to sleep in as long as you want in complete silence! Ideal to relax!
The nearest beach is within walking distance, about 600 meters, or 10 minutes. And there are many other beaches near-by.

Spain's `sunshine coast’ is one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations. With an average of 320 days of blue sky annually, it is perfect as a summer holiday or as a winter destination for golfers, walkers and those wishing to pursue out -door activities. Families are particularly well catered for, with myriad attractions, restaurants and of course miles of beaches. Children are not just tolerated but welcomed by the friendly Spanish people.

Despite the march of development, the area still has the ambience of Andalucía, the most `Spanish' of all regions and you do not have to venture far from your holiday home to encounter local ferias, fiestas and romerias - the scent of Jasmine is in the air, inexpensive wine is flowing freely- come and enjoy!

The old town of Estepona is small but full of life. There is a very pretty church and cafes and restaurants surround the main square, called “Plaza de la Flores”. Estepona’s port is another centre for bars and restaurants. It has a pretty good night life, but it starts late, around 1 am. On Sunday’s morning there is a market there, where you can buy products from Morocco, imitations handbags, ceramics etc, and it’s a good time to go and enjoy a late breakfast or have lunch. The “paseo maritimo” or sea front promenade has an impressive collection of cactuses. During summer, walking beside the sea, you can buy all kinds of things in the evening until around 1 am at the little market, which operates there in July/August. The beach is one of the best “city beach” on the coast, large, clean, and not too crowded. Lots of “chiringuitos” or bars-restaurants on the beach.
Marbella is 30 kms from the house, about 15 mns drive, and Puerto Banus is a little closer.
When you arrive in the flat you will find a 14 pages memo with a list of closeby good restaurants, bars etc as well as lots of ideas for day trips, half day trips, where to go shopping etc etc.

If you wish to bring your pet you'll have to let me know which kind, race, gender weight etc etc. I do accept some pets BUT NOT ALL: no big or medium size dogs.
there will be a supplement of â¬5/day to be paid on arrival fo bringing a pet.

Although I've specified check in and check out times I'm extremely flexible. Extremely. Those times only apply if I have back to back bookings, which is fairly rare. And only in summer, mostly in August.
