Private Entrance and Private parking

This is the only rental on our property - Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay at a private property overlooking the beach and ocean? We are located in a tropical paradise where the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. We offer one of the best close-up ocean & beach views in the southern region. Ballena Marine National Park is only a 15 minute drive down the Coastal Highway, with a gorgeous string of beaches along the way and two other National Parks close by.

Be sure not to forget your binoculars and camera! From your secluded top floor there is a 180 degree ocean view from the oversized covered terrace where you can see a large variety of birds and wildlife throughout the day. There is a primary jungle ridge behind the house that is corridor for white-face & Holler monkeys with best viewing results early in the morning and late afternoon.

Olas Hermosas sits on the ocean-side of the coastal highway, built with the remarkable view as the focal point, and from every room you'll see the beautiful bay, stunning beach and ocean views. Even when you take a shower you will be able to enjoy the view.

Get away from the crowds and stay in a private, clean and secure environment. It is not uncommon that you will find that you are the only one on this secluded mile long picturesque beach which is only a 4 minute walk from your studio to swim, sunbath, stroll the beach or look for shells and sand dollars. Beach chairs to take to the beach and a cooler are provided.

Relax at the end of the day and enjoy gorgeous sunsets as you watch the sun dip into the ocean during most of the high season from your veranda. The rhythmic peaceful sounds of the ocean with dramatic scenes as the waves meeting the rocks in a beautiful display of nature at its best. The only interruption may be the owners coming up to share a margarita at sunset. Olas Hermosas is completely furnished with full kitchen, AC, hot water, WiFi cable internet, sunflower shower head, washer & dryer, cable TV with DVD player, speaker system that can be used with your iPod or other music input devises. A king-size bed converts to two twins plus one double futon.

The front drive has a private gated entrance adjacent to a beautifully landscaped front yard area. You do not need a four-wheel drive since you never have to leave pavement from San Jose to the gated entrance. You will only be a mile from great shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. A few of the most popular local places to eact are even closer (Por Que No is walking distance) The commercial center of Uvita is just to the south 12 minutes away.

If you like the great ocean-front locations of the botique hotels, Coconut Grove or Costa Paraiso then you will love our location situated between both of these popualr properties. With the second floor studio being the only vacation rental on our proeprty you will have it to yourself.

Things to do include:

* Horseback trips through mountains, ocean, and waterfalls.

* World class surfing, surf lessons, boogie boarding, yoga.

* Snorkeling or diving off Isla de Caños

* Hiking, bird watching, whale watching, tide pools, biking.

* Nights in the jungle at Hacienda Baru

* River rafting, boating, sea and river kayaking.

* World class sport fishing,(reservations weeks in advance recommended), in-shore fishing, river fishing, mangrove tours.

The efficiency studio is perfect for a couple but can accommodate a small family of 4 with the futon that opens to a large bed. Olas Hermosas is only two kilometers from little shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. Other than one hour each side of high tide you can walk most of the way on the beach to Dominical.

We also own a two-bedroom, both with pools, only 1 Km away if you want to invite some friends and have a little more room.

We can help you with transportation from the airport, car rentals, and activities in the area, knowledge of best restaurants, our favorite local beaches or any other general information about the area.

WE HAVE HAD GUESTS FROM 49 STATES & ALL CANADIAN PROVINCES. We are trying to have at least one guest from every US state and Canadian Provinces and are offering a 5% discount if you stay at one of our properties and are currently living in MS. For Canada we are still looking for guests from two of the Territories (not Yukon, guests from Whitehorse were here)
