Lattice House is the ultimate tropical luxury vacation home, surrounded by mountains and your own private jungle reserve, and spectacular coastline views---from Playa Hermosa and the Whale's Tail below to the Osa Peninsula, 40 miles down the coast.

The beautiful Bali-modern indoor/outdoor villa is filled with custom-designed finishes and furnishings, all imported from Bali.

The private nature reserve is located with easy access off the coast road between Dominical and Uvita, with over 60 acres of large park-like spaces, orchards, and jungle trails. The property is teeming with wildlife. On any given day, you may see and hear howler and white-face monkeys, coaties, tayras, agouties, sloths, toucans, aracaries, hummingbirds, parrots, and dozens of other bird species, all from the house decks. It is a bird-watcher's dream.

The villa is up an easy beautiful 1/2 kilometer drive lined with royal palms, high enough for spectacular views, but close enough to hear the surf below, and a 3 minute drive down to the beach.

The reserve is shared with only one other villa and each is totally private. We have an onsite manager/concierge to take care of you before and during your stay, as well as staff to ensure your stay is problem free.

Lattice House and Reserva de Achiote is the most beautiful, accessible luxury vacation rental in the area; it will be your own private paradise.

Getting around

You will need a rental car for visiting the area and participating in activities. The villa is right of the Costenera and convenient to all tourist activities. My manager can assist with rental cars from the airport, but the most comfortable, hassle-free way to travel to Lattice House is to have my manager arrange a private transport van from the airport. Then she can have your rental car delivered to the villa. On your return, simply leave the rental car at the villa and the van will return you to the airport. With a private van, the driver can stop anywhere you wish along the way for groceries, to eat, or to see the sights. Definitely the way to go!

Interaction with guest

My onsite manager, Ana, will be at your disposal before and during your stay. She will help arrange any activities or catering you wish to make in advance, arrange your ground transportation, answer any questions or prepare any special requests. She will give you a personal code for the gate and will meet you at the villa upon your arrival to give you a complete tour and answer your questions about operations of the villa. While you are there, she can make reservations, help you choose and arrange activities, and ensure any problems or requests are addressed quickly. You will be well taken care of through out your stay.

How do damage deposits work?
