-Entrance via wide stable doorway.

-Wide entrance hall and ground floor bathroom with w/c, cloakroom sink and sizable shower unit.

-Comfortable lounge with many features including oak beams and large inglenook with open bread oven.

-Large open plan dining room/ kitchen with oak beams.

-Two bedrooms via oak stairway.

-Exposed oak beams, many original, throughout first floor.

-First floor bathroom with standard sized sink, bath and w/c.

-One bedroom has one double bed and second bedroom has one double and one single bed.

“Beautiful cottage”

Very well equipped cottage. Lovely and warm. Hosts where on site very friendly and helpful. Close to town with co op and Spar. Would love to stay longer next time. We eat in the Royal Ship hotel. Can highly recommend.

Well equipped and spacious cottage in peaceful location. Warm and cosy. Comfortable bed. 2 bedrooms, bathroom plus downstairs shower room with toilet. Lovely walks from cottage and only a short drive to many more. Separate shed for drying wet clothes and boots, and room to store bikes. A great location to explore southern Snowdonia. Lovely welcome gifts of Welsh cakes, wine, fudge, milk and flowers. Owners friendly and quick to respond to emails when booking made. We would highly recommend.

“Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location”

We loved our time at Hen Dy (2 adults, 1 child), the cottage was lovely and clean and has been restored to a high standard! The cottage is next to Cymer Abbey and a campsite but was very quiet and all really well maintained. The cottage itself is just off one of the main roads so made day trips very accessible including the local town which had all required shops/take aways/ restaurants and a lovely park and play areas. We felt the pictures didn't do it justice, it really is a beautiful place!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Geraint (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
