Welcome pack includes: emergency tea/coffee/sugar sachets, pint of fresh milk, bottle of wine, packet of biscuits/cakes. Please remove all your refuse from the property upon departure using the correct recycling bins and put all refuse bins out on the pavement before you leave ready for the weekly collection if you depart on a Tues or Wed. This is a detached property with no expense spared to give the holiday maker every luxury that they need from a 50 inch plasma screen with Sky TV, DVD Player and Wii game, this holiday home has it all. The house is fully underfloor heated throughout and has a large patio with an amazing bushman burner chiminea (which is hand made from clay and never gets too hot to touch) for those cool summer evenings when a roaring log fire is a must outside. The views here are stunning with nothing blocking your views across the Cader Idris Mountain Range. Just sitting on the patio and taking in the view is a holiday in itself.

“Perfect - can't wait to return”
We stayed here for 3 nights in March and loved it immediately. It's in a lovely area which feels very safe. The house smells amazing and it felt like stepping into a show home. We were 2 couples so the house was very spacious for it. The kitchen is really well equipped so it was nice to stay in and cook - and play on the Wii! Garden is really nice too, even in the rain. Great location to explore Snowdonia. We did Bounce Below at Zip World, visited Barmouth beach and Harlech castle. We also walked into Dolgellau and had dinner at the Ship Hotel which I would recommend. Our host Victoria was very easy to deal with. Looking forward to returning!

I have now been to this property 3 times in 2013. On every occasion my experience was most enjoyable. From the booking to the directions/location to the accommodation to the decor and view - all were spot on. Whether you are with friends, a couple or a family unit this place offfers and accommodates for all. The views are breathtaking and the local amenities are literally a few minutes away. Nothing is too much trouble. On my first visit there wasnt any soap dispensers in the bathrooms, on my second visit they were there!. Cant wait for my next visit in January!

“Ideal for family stay”
I grew up in Dolgellau and wanted somewhere to stay so that my family could visit the area again. This is a fantastic house which fitted our needs exactly, with plenty of room for everyone and with excellent facilities, including safety gates at both the top and bottom of the stairs. It is beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We had a problem with the shower in the ensuite bathroom on the first day, but on speaking to Victoria we were able to sort out the problem very quickly. I was able to retrace the steps of my youth and revisit the stunning countryside and seaside near Dolgellau. This property is ideally located as a base for exploring this wonderful picturesque area of Wales.

I stayed over for a weekend with a group of friends. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we required for our stay. We would happily visit again soon. Victoria has also been great and helped us with everything and made our stay comfortable for all of us.

“Nice property but not as clean as expected”
The property is very well located, fitted out really well and has lovely views. In our opinion the property had not been left as clean as would be expected (i.e. hairs in bed and on floor, fridge not wiped down, several crumbs in cutlery tray...just to name a few issues). We brought the issues to the attention of the owner and hopefully they will sort it out with the property management company so future guests do not have the same experience.
Owner's reply: Thank you for these comments. Unfortunately, the cleanliness concerns were reported a day after arrival therefore the management team were not given the chance to rectify any concerns upon guests arrival. They have taken the comments on board for future guests although it is the only time this type of comment has arisen. A discount upon booking was requested which was given and a refund requested afterwards but when our investigations were completed an apology was given with a discount off any future bookings. The refund request was refused.
