Parking is available at the back of the property but this is not allocated. The enjoyment of your stay is paramount and board games, books, magazines are provided to help aid relaxation in the property.Seasalt is located a three minute walk from the Falmouth water front and approximately a five minute walk into town including Falmouth Events Square and the National Maritime Museum, in fact the Maritime Museum tower can be seen on stepping out of the front door! Gyllenvase Beach, Ships and Castles leisure facilities, Pendennis Castle and views across to St Mawes are all just a walk away. You really are in the heart of this vibrant sea side town but far enough away to keep clear of any noisy pubs and clubs; although there is no guarantee you won't hear the odd seagull! From the property you have great access to Truro, with the Truro Falmouth branch line only a few minutes away. This small two carriage train runs to and from Truro during the day. You also have access to a network of passenger ferries taking you to Truro, St Mawes, Penryn, Treliske Gardens and the Helford River. A great event is Falmouth Week running from Friday 4th to Sunday 13th August 2017, from this cottage you will be only a short walk away from all the activity and the vibrant buzz of the town during this time. This is a great week of activities, with lots happening on the water from sail yachts and gig rowing competitions, RNLI displays and plenty of day and evening entertainment in the town. It really is a great week for all the family. The colours of the oyster catcher sailing boats are magical against the blue of the sea and hopefully for you the blue of the sky! The week culminates with a grand fire work display, a week not to be missed and one of the highlights in Falmouth's calendar.Altogether if you are looking for a relaxed and homely break and a place to explore all the delights Falmouth and Cornwall has to offer then Seasalt Cottage ticks many of the boxes. A place to recharge and explore in comfortable surroundings and only a moments' walk from the harbour, town and the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. So whether it's a walk in to town to sample Rick Steins Fish and Chips, an evenings stroll around the headland to gaze over at the magical St Mawes or just sitting on the beach at Gyllenvase with the sand between your toes, eating a local ice cream with the Atlantic backdrop you can be sure Seasalt will provide a holiday to be remembered and treasured.Change over day: Friday
