Description

Hollin How is a converted traditional lakeland barn in the small village of Dockray, one mile from lake Ullswater.

The property is ideal for walkers, with walks right from your doorstep including Aira Force waterfall. Gowbarrow Fell is to the West of the village and High Street mountain range and Helvellyn are nearby. For the more energetic and adventurous Rookin House Activity Centre is just over a mile away where you can try numerous activities including archery, quad bikes, go-karts, horse riding, fishing and clay pigeon shooting. Also an ideal area for mountain biking or cycling.

The Royal Hotel in Dockray is only a few minutes walk where you can have an informal bar meal or dine in the restaurant which serves traditional Cumbrian and modern dishes. They also have a good selection of real ales.
