Look no further, you've found the perfect place. The Villa del Sole is a brand new, premium apartment with panoramic views of Lake Como to the east and picturesque mountain and rural views of the 'Valle d'Intelvi,' one of the lake's most beautiful valleys, . This 120 square metre ground floor apartment in a unique three apartment building provides a private 'getaway' for your family and friends in tranquil, 'whisper quiet' surroundings.There are three bedrooms (one king, one queen, and two single beds), two bathrooms, air-conditioning, heating, satellite TV, lock-up garage, private splash pool (two and one--half metres by 4 and one-half metres), outdoor balcony, terrace and garden, all for private use for this apartment only. The building has a security gate and intercom. The large lounge has comfortable sofas and leads out onto the magnificent terrace with breathtaking views of the lake and valley. The owners have designed the apartment for relaxation and comfort--a perfect base to relax or explore. Nature trails lead to old villages and classic Italian stone terraces nearby. The nearest town, Argegno, is in an excellent strategic position only four minutes drive away. It is easy to reach all the other towns on the lake by ferry, bus or car--you couldn't ask for a more convenient point.This apartment is only a 20 minute drive away from Cernobbio, the world famous hotel Villa D'este and the famous Villa Erba, where many exhibitions and trade fairs are held, the City of Como is a 25-minute drive away. Of course Como is the silk capital of Italy, so there are many silk and textile factory outlets and shops in the town of Como. Milan is 55 kilometres, one hour's drive (less to Milan International airport), so it is also ideal for combining a holiday with the world famous 'Monza Grand Prix', or any other sporting or business events which you may wish to attend in Milan. All travel information will be provided to guests enquiring about the apartment, as will a welcome book (provided in the apartment) with the local tours and suggested walking itineraries in the area, local information and suggested boat trips.

We personally meet you on arrival to show you around, explain how things work and make sure you are happy with everything.

The apartment is new, the building finished in May 2007 so everything is fresh. It is very spacious and comfortable and in a very tranquil location, with fantastic views. The 3 bedrooms are a good size with 1 king and 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, there is also a comfortable, brand new double sofa bed in the lounge

There is a big terrace running all around the apartment and a small garden where you will find the small private pool, all this offering wonderful lake and mountain views.
The shared garage is big enough for 1 car and is on the property.

“Great apartment with amazing views!”

6 of us - 4 adults & 2 kids stayed for a week. The apartment was great, plenty of room in the bedrooms (larger than they looked in the photos), and lovely living room. The kids loved splashing about in the pool after a day out, although it was quite cool, even in August, and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the views. Loads to do in the area - the 'Balcony of Italy' was a highlight, and the cable car up to Pigra is not to be missed. The lake ferries don't go very frequently from Argegno, so you need to plan you trip. Walking down to Argegno was about half an hour - find the way through the old town to avoid the main road, and it's a lovely walk, though tiring on the knees! About 45 mins back up ... it's steep! Thanks to Elena and Silvana who were both really helpful when our rental car broke down and wouldn't make it up the hill!

Excellent in every way. Two small points to note. One, the swimming pool is small if you want to have a proper swim. However good if you just want to cool off. Secondly, the approach road to the house is very narrow. Could be off putting for nervous drivers. The view is beautiful.

How do damage deposits work?
