The Gwynedd region
Parc Cefn Coed Bungalow is situated at the top of the Llyn Peninsular which is one of Wales' finest Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The rolling and often dramatic landscape of Llyn runs down into sweeping sandy beaches, hidden coves and rocky cliffs along a coastline of nearly 100 miles.
There are dramatic views of both the Snowdonia and Rivals mountain ranges from the garden. A walk up one of the hills of Llyn offers spectacular views across Cardigan Bay to the south, Anglesey to the north and even the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland to the west. The snow capped mountains of neighbouring Snowdonia are stunning during the winter, if your legs won't carry you, there is a mountain railway which extends to the summit in good weather.
Dinas Dinlle nestles in the Caernarfon Bay with its beautiful long beach which is sandy at low tide. The gulf stream is clearly evident on the peninsula, bringing with it warmer weather, higher sea temperatures and few or no frosts.
The bungalow provides an excellent base from which to explore the Llyn Peninsular, Snowdonia and Anglesey. There are numerous attractions and activities nearby which are detailed in our housebook. To name a few:
Historic houses and Castles
Portmerion (set of the 60's series The Prisoner)
Golf (at courses in Caernarfon and Nefyn)
Climbing, walking & horse riding
Pleasure flights over North Wales at Caernarfon Airport
Trips to Dublin via ferry from Hollyhead

"Yet another lovely week"
Another good week at this ideally situated bungalow in Wales. Plenty of room for all the family and only a stones throw from a dog friendly beach. We love to stay here and the owners are a pleasure to deal with which makes it a nicer experience. Hope to have more holidays in the future, well recommended

"A lovely bungalow in a very peaceful location with lovely views."
We have visited the house and bungalow on three occasions and have never been disappointed. As an extended family, the layout of the bungalow is perfect. There is a double room and bathroom off the lounge to the right and to the left is a twin room and a double ensuite. This layout allows for time out from the main living accommodation which comprises of a lounge, kitchen and conservatory leading to the garden. The location is peaceful with lovely views and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. It is an ideal base for exploring North Wales as Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia are within reasonable driving distance. There is such a variety of lovely things to do for a family and we look forward to visiting again.

Perfect holiday accommodation in a very tranquil area. Accommodation has a good layout, and the dining/conservatory area was ideal with views of the mountains at every meal, and the sun most of the day. The fenced off garden area was perfect for the dogs.

My family of 6 adults spent a lovely week at Cefn Coed Bungalow in June.It is a deceptively spacious property,3 good sized bedrooms and having an en- suite is a definite plus. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms clean and fresh. The best room is the conservatory/dining room where we spent many hours eating ,drinking and playing cards . The garden with its great views is ideal for BBQs and relaxing ,enjoyed by humans and dogs alike.

"Super bungalow in great location"
The bungalow is a bit like the Tardis - looks small from the outside but actually really spacious & fixtures/fittings/decor all done to a high standard. Really friendly owners who made booking process etc very easy & also very helpful when we rang them with a query during our stay. Amazing location being so near Caernarfon, Snowdon & so many other touristy places, yet very tranquil. Lots of sand on the beach at low tide so great for the kids. Definitely recommended.

"Cant wait to go again"
Once again a very enjoyable week , busy doing nothing .We love the place and the dogs love it as well . Cant wait to go back again for a third visit in 2012 . The "Tesco online " home delivery service works well also .

The property was clean comfortable and spacious for our family requirements. The location provided peace and tranquility and a good escape from the demands of life. The beach walks had idilic scenery and provided an opportunity for gentle relaxation. Although local facilities were limited, Caernarfon and Bangor were able to provide all that was needed. The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a very pleasant week and returned home felling refershed and will hopefully return in the future. WE have already recommended this to others.

"Cosy bungalow in nice location"
Cosy and comfortable. Close to the beach and ideal if you travel with pets. Very quiet and remote and perfect for the escape from the rat race. We have been there twice this year. Although we had sadly both times mixed weather with always strong winds, we really enjoyed our stay. It's nice for beach walks, but don't expect a typical beach holiday as it is mostly too windy with a quite rough sea. So always take a warm jacket/fleece with you. But I guess it must be nice for surfers. The nearby town Caernarfon is a really lovely and well worth a visit and only a stonethrow away - about 6 miles. We will definitely go again outside the season next year as we find it too pricey in the main season, especially for a 2 person occupancy. But beside that, we love it.
