The home sleeps 7 people in total Not just another Gite in France - Our Farmhouse has old character charm outside with modern LUXURY inside....4 BEDROOMS: - 3 good sized rooms located on the 1st floor of the home, one master with en-suite, a large double room and a twin room, with a 4th bedroom in the loft area with 2 twins beds TV, PS2, VHS and seating area an ideal den with added comfort of air con!.Large fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, coffee maker, slow cooker, many appliances, washing machine and dishwasher and breakfast bar.Lounge benefits from wide-screen TV with English satellite, DVD player (many films provided) and 6 seater dinning table.There are 2 bathrooms & a separate WC, one en-suite and one large family bathroom on the 1st floor both complete with corner showers, marble sinks, with a convenient WC also located downstairs.Games Room, dartboard and various other board games and a Playstation2 games console in the loft room (some games provided on site).

FREE WIFI/Internet Access also available & mainline calls to UK - just take your own laptop!
Once your booking has been confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total holiday cost will be required to secure your holiday dates (this forms part of your full holiday cost).The full rental balance will be due 10 weeks before your departure.If your departure date is less than 10 weeks away, the full balance will be due as soon as you're booking has been confirmed. At time of full payment, an extra payment of £150 will be required as a security deposit; this will be refunded as and when a satisfactory inspection of the property is completed, usually within two weeks after your departure (kindly leave our home in a reasonable order, should extensive additional cleaning be required (i.e. BBQ) on your departure a charge of £20 may be deducted from this deposit) any major breakages/replacements will also be deducted from this deposit and then the balance returned. Please report any breakages or damage so I can replace/fix (will only charge if large items - not the odd glass etc) Cancellations must be received in writing. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if full payment is not received in accordance with clause 1. Cancellation will result in: loss of deposit

DINAN - A magical medieval walled town, steeped in history, with its half-timbered houses and rambling cobbled streets, it has many great shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and is full of art history and wonderful historic buildings as well as towers & castles - you can be sure of a pleasant surprise around every corner.Made up of a port area with restaurants lining the edge of the river Rance to the market walled area of the town. Our lovely large farmhouse is located on the outskirts, surrounded by countryside with Dinan only a short drive away - to suit all families, outside a typical detached Farmhouse with own south facing private garden and pool, while inside completely modern - best of both worlds!Only 32km drive from St Malo port and approximately 45 minute flight from Luton or Stansted with Ryan Air it is well worth a visit, most guests spend a few weeks with us but even if you are only passing through on your way to the South of France or just fancied a week to sample the local cuisine accompanied by a glass of local wine or cider, or the hospitality of the Breton people, why not pay us a visit at La Touche?And remember - Should you book our Farmhouse we can offer discount on any Brittany Ferries routes.
DINANSet alongside the River Rance it can claim to be the most perfectly preserved medieval town in Brittany. Old world charm is everywhere. Picturesque 15th & 16th century half-timbered houses with their pointed gables and wooden porches line cobbled streets, while a 14th century castle and ramparts that completely encircle the town state clearly that this was once a major military stronghold. A museum housed within the castle is worth a visit. Really need to explore the town by foot, a long stroll down the ancient Rue Jerzual, which connects the market town with the port area, many craft shops, cafes and restaurants. Market is on a Thursday till 3pm, easiest parking is just of main roundabout, slip road down to underground parking around the city wall. DINARDShort 30 min drive – great for day trips – large sandy beach at Dinard, also main links golf course Sitting atop a rocky headland above the Rance. The seafront is lined with Victorian buildings, which ensure the town still retains its elegant and sedate old world character. The main beach is La Grande Plage, a large strip of sand between the two peninsulas that define the edges of the old town. It is popular with families and is crowded on hot days. .ST MALOSt Malo (approx 40 mins drive- 20 miles) the city is built on a granite island, visitors are able to walk round the ramparts of the city’s 20ft thick walls with view of the town and the harbour, the ancient citadal, the Cathedral St Vincent, dominates the skyline, St Malo is full of history, many winding streets and great sea views. CANCALEfamous for its oysters, the seafront of the "oyster capital" is packed with restaurants offering the pied de cheval flat variety; sometimes so substantial they are eaten with a knife and fork. The town is not as pretty as some, but the scale and variety of the seafood make a very pleasant lunchtime visit. The walk from the famous Cancale rock up to the Pointe du Grohin gives superb views of Mont St Michel on a clear day. The weekly market day is Sunday.Last but by no means least is our own little village - OK maybe not a day trip but the bakery is worth a morning visit!PLUMAUDAN, Only 2km down the road. Out of our main gates take right, right and right again! (or left out of gate, take next left, at T Junc turn right -this route is better if on a push bike or foot, not likely to see any cars!) The village has a bakery, chemist, 2 bars & a small shop – although opening times are somewhat erratic!Starting a scenic drive from St Cast-le-Guildo, taking the coastal roads, through St-Jacut-de-la-mar (rock pools), St Briac (windsurfing beach) into Dinard is a great way to take in the views.There is a water park, horse riding, fishing and many other activities – we are unable to list them all so explore!

“Great location, lovely house, everything you could want”
We stayed here for a week in June 2013 and had a lovely time. The farmhouse was spotless with everything you could ever need. A real home from home! Niki was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would love to return again soon and would highly recommend to others!
“Everything we hoped for and more”
We have stayed at La Touche three times and we have already booked for September 2013. The house is just right for us as we need three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a downstairs loo and parking right outside. It is nicely furnished and everything works, with all the kitchen equipment you could want. The situation is beautifully quiet and yet it's an easy run to Dinan, which is a town we love, incorporating a lively Mediaeval centre with lots of shops and a pretty port lined with restaurants where we sit for hours and watch the boats go by. Many other scenic and interesting places are within reach and every time we visit we find new ones. The garden is private and the swimming pool is a good size. You could not wish for more pleasant and helpful owners than Niki and Rob, but they are not in the least intrusive. We would not hesitate to recommend it.
