Villa Holly is a peaceful cosy retreat ideal for families, couples and singles alike. It is perfect if you’re looking for an affordable, exotic beach holiday, away from Kenya’s over-crowded cities and hotels.

Our villa is located at Diani Beach in Kenya. The position is ideally suited for those who would like a tropical beach holiday in a lush location. Our cottages are just 650 meters walk from the powdery white sands and shallow shores of the Indian Ocean. And just 5 mins walk , from taxis and matatu transport. Far away from overcrowded hotel scene, you can enjoy a relaxing, private stay in your own piece of paradise.

At the centre of the gardens is an 11 x 7m swimming pool, exclusively for the use of both villas guests. .

We are proud to have the only fenced, gated pool in Diani Beach, making the Villa Holly ideal for families with young children. You can relax in the knowledge that your family are in a safe, secure environment.

The villa complex is walled, gated and alarmed. While the area around Diani beach is safe for tourists, for your complete security we employ a Samburu Masai warrior guard, on a 24 hour basis.

We offer two fully furnished villas in Diani Beach,

Both cottages are built in local Swahili style with coral stone and a Makuti (palm thatched) roof. The traditional architecture makes use of the sea breeze for pleasant temperatures all day long.

Each villa can sleep up to 8+ people comfortably and are available on a nightly or weekly basis Rental includes a daily housekeeping service, linen and towels., air conditioner not included , to be paid as per use...

On the lower floor are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, both bedrooms have air conditioning , one has also an en-suite bathroom. The upper floor has two bedrooms with two queen sized beds and a baby cot if required. All of the beds have mosquito nets and silent ceiling fans.

Villas have three bathrooms (one is en-suite),

There are two a spacious living rooms for those that want to relax indoors. A covered outdoor terrace dining area overlooks the swimming pool. All rooms, including the veranda are equipped with ceiling fans for your comfort. All windows have mosquito nets.

The fully equipped kitchen has a gas rranger cooker, oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. Sufficient utensils are available.

There are some small shops in the vicinity. Several big supermarkets with standard European items are just a 10 minute drive away. Your personal chef can take care of your everyday shopping needs .

While Villa Holly staff officially work from 8 to 5 pm, assistance can be arranged if you require something extra special during your stay. Our housekeeper, pool attendant and gardener, remain on-site in separate lodgings 24 hours a day, so are available to assist you if a problem arises .

A personal chef can be hired for a daily fee of £ 12 he will be happy to prepare delicious meals and take care of your shopping if you wish.

We organise safaris ,excursions, day tours, no need to reserve them from overseas

very nice....Received well by the host, Eunice, who made our stay very good, very polite and helpful, avery good lady. The villa was clean and tidy, air conditioning in the lower rooms very nice, very safe pool for children as not so deep, nice compound. Although far from the beach, went there twice!!! Also gardener, caretaker and watchman very polite. Enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend!!!

Owner's reply: Dear Micha thanks for your review. we made some improvement : pool barbecue , fenced swimming pool, car porch , bathroom in the upper floor and we haven’t had the time to update all websites pictures yet ,it will be done soon February 2017 I can assure you that those ants do not belong to us, and that there are no ants when guests are not in , ants love sugar , everything left in the kitchen countertop : unwashed dishes , glasses , food, fruits will attract ants it is up to you as guest to keep this areas clean as we do not do 24 hours cleaning service . You experienced a bet of rain, from the top Makuti roof …. Palm leaves roof… the way the Makuti is built ,in order to keep the house cool , has for openings on the bottom and two on the top , there are no windows , so in some cases during heavy rain and strong winds , e bet of rain can enter from the top opening. Our furniture is all hand made by local craftsmen, we cannot please anyone’s taste. The way to the beach is not illuminated at night and so are all others beach access in the Kenya coast . Yes we do not advice anyone to walk in the dark, and so even in London where I live. According to all the others guests reviews, they all say good value for money, that meaning that we are affordable. Once again we cannot please everybody.
