Set within a small complex in a quiet location on the outskirts of Polis, our light and airy first floor apartment (Crusty Hills as we call our bolt-hole in the sun) is situated a stones throw from the beach of Chyrsochou Bay, but it is only 10/15 minutes walking distance to the town centre with all its amenities including restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, etc.
With balconies to the front and rear, you have the choice of spectacular views either of the Akamas peninsula and the blue waters of the Mediterranean (sunsets are a dream!) or the rugged hills of the Pafos forest.
Polis is an ideal base for hiking or biking in the Akamas nature reserve or the Troodos mountains, snorkelling or scuba diving in the clear Mediterranean waters, as well as a haven for those seeking rest and tranquillity in a pleasant and friendly environment.
A short drive takes you to the small port of Latchi, renowned for its harbour-side fish restaurants, sea-sport facilities and boating excursions - a must for all Polis visitors.

Cyprus - birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty - is Europe's easternmost Mediterranean isle.
Lying at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa, it is the European cultural identity that sets the tone of the island's infinitely varied character.
Cyprus offers a magical blend of romance, history, and relaxation in a superb setting - virtues that help make the island a perfect year round destination.
If it's sun and sand that you are looking for, there's plenty of it in this north-west corner of Cyprus. If it's culture, history, archaeology, walking or cycling you prefer, then this area of the island caters for you too.
Polis, which in Greek means town, is on the wide Chrysochous Bay that runs along the northwest sweep of Cyprus from the tip of the Akamas Peninsula to Pomos Point, at the start of Cyprus' Tylliria wilderness.
Polis offers the ideal holiday for those who appreciate authenticity and seek rest and tranquillity in a pleasant and friendly environment, which blends mountains and plain with a wonderful healthy climate, particularly warm clear seas and secluded beaches.
It's a laid-back sort of place with lots of old-fashioned nooks and crannies, in addition to a picturesque central pedestrian area mostly given over to tavernas, restaurants (with some of the best and most affordable dining to be had in the whole of Cyprus) and shops. The leisurely pace of life here is a welcome sign of just how different things are in this part of Cyprus.
Nonetheless, Polis is considered to be an excellent location for those who enjoy active holidays, whether on land or sea. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, water-skiing, wind-surfing, scuba diving, horse riding and golf - to name but a few! (Tsada golf course is just 25 minutes away from Polis).
