Beautiful spacious gardens with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside yet only a 5 minute walk to the main Ovacik road where you will find supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The property has six sunbeds and cushions solely for the use of our guests and also a barbecue for outdoor dining. There is also a mountain bike available for use by our more energetic guests!
Please note that there is £ 35.00 cleaning and inspection fee payable in resort before departure and which will be collected by our maintenance company. This is per booking and is NOT per person. This is based on a maximum of 6 guests staying, for less than 4 guests the cost will be less as it is charged per occupied bedroom. Please also note that as Turkey is not part of the EU public liability is not yet available and therefore it is strongly advised that you obtain adequate holiday insurance as we disclaim any liability on our part.
The Turquoise Coast, commonly referred to as the Turkish Riviera, stretches along Turkey's Mediterranean coastline and is a holiday paradise with golden sun kissed beaches, sparkling turquoise seas, clear blue lagoons, stunning coastline and pine clad mountains. The combination of stunning scenery and impressive historical sites also makes this area of Turkey the perfect place for coastal and inland walking and the area has the benefit of a balmy year long climate.
Ovacik is a lovely village set amongst stunning mountain scenery and located at the foot of the Babadag mountain. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and there is also a brand new water park ideal for the children. In addition the popular Orka complex is just a few minutes walk away from the location of the property. For those seeking a livelier atmosphere the village of Hisaronu is also just a short walk away.
Hisaronu is the liveliest resort in the area, packed full of bars, restaurants (including traditional Turkish, Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Italian) and nightclubs with plenty of shops and supermarkets.
Oludeniz is a beautiful seaside resort, most famous for the blue lagoon and its lovely beaches. The resort is packed full of restaurants, bars and shops and like Hisaronu caters for all tastes. The resort is surrounded by mountains which exceed 2000 metres in places and which extend all along the coastline.
Places to Visit and Things To Do
Fethiye - the pretty coastal town of Fethiye is only 10 minutes away on the dolmus from Ovacik. Tuesdays are a must when the large market is on and the fish market is also well worth a visit where you can buy your fish and take it to a nearby restaurant where they will cook it for you. There are many shops in Fethiye and the old town, Paspatur, is very popular with its many shops, restaurants and bars. There are also many boat trips available from Fethiye.
Kayakoy - the famous ghost village is easily accessible by dolmus approx 10 mins from Hisaronu. Once there you can walk through the ghost village ruins, see the deserted homes and churches, enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants and even do some wine tasting.
Saklikent Gorge - the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey, walk up some of the canyon through the ice cold waters or sit on the banks on a beanbag and enjoy some local food and a cold drink.
Butterfly Island - only accessible by boat the valley is home to over 60 species of butterfly. In addition there is a small beach on which to relax and two waterfalls in which to cool down. Butterfly Island is easily accessible by boat from the main beach in Oludeniz.
Dalyan - Dalyan village is situated on a river surrounded by lush green fields and spectacular mountain ranges. On one side of the river is the ancient city of Cuanos, regarded as a great archeological site, and the lovely 4km sandy Dalyan beach, famous for its turtles, is only a short boat ride away through the reeds.
Tlos - walk amongst the ancient ruins of the city of Tlos.
The Lycian Way - for the more energetic walk the famous Lycian Way, the beginning of which is in Ovacik.
Paragliding - Oludeniz is an extremely popular resort for the the more adventurous for the paragliding with wonderful views of the blue lagoon.
