We bought this apartment because it is convenient, has stunning uninterrupted views over the harbour and the accommodation is inclusive which means that whoever is working in the kitchen area can still enjoy the views and the company of the rest of the party. Biggest attraction point is the balcony where you can sit and look out at the stunning views of Poole Harbour and the Purbecks beyond. The accommodation has two double bedrooms and includes a master and en-suite bathroom. We would like to think that we have included some high end furnishings and fittings to make your stay special. There is reserved secure underground parking for two cars accessed by remote control gate. There is lift access from both the car park and the main entrance to the apartment. Poole Quay is just a short walk away which offers many restaurants, bars and shops. Opening in late 2015 is a footbridge that allows access directly from the apartment complex to Hamworthy beach and park which are 100 yards away.

Further details

To maintain the high standard of the apartment we ask holidaymakers to enjoy but respect the next people who will be using the apartment. If there has been a breakage or issue with any of the apartments equipment we would appreciate it if we are told immediately that way we can deal with the issue for you and before the new people arrive. We ask for a 20% deposit with booking and the remainder approximately one month before your holiday. We only take full 7 day bookings for the following dates: Easter, July and August and also Christmas (ie no part week bookings). We normally take online bookings for Saturday or Sunday as this is when we do the changeover and the meet and greets. With the majority of bookings we provide a meet and greet service whereby we will arrange a convenient time to meet you and show you into the apartment and give you the keys etc but please note that the latest time at weekends that Sandra can do this is by 4pm. If you would like to book the apartment mid week, then please do not book online but request the dates and we will come back to you. Many thanks.

The Dorset region

A picturesque part of the country with a wide range of attractions. Dorset has much to offer those of all ages.

Poole is by the sea and has Europe’s largest natural harbour so as you can imagine it is well known for all kinds of boating and water sports activities, the night life is vibrant and there are numerous things to do to suit every taste. There is a polo tournament every year at Sandbanks, the only sand polo tournament in the UK its very exciting for the uninitiated to see polo there for the first time. The daily trips to Brownsea Island and the Cockle trail, which retraces Poole’s history, are maybe less glamorous but great fun none the less. Motorcycles and Classic Cars rock up every Tuesday and Friday during the summer months. There’s live music on the Quay and various events throughout the summer.

On the edge of the Jurassic Coast, you can visit it by car or take a boat from Poole Quay or if you would rather a day in the countryside, the New Forest is also a short drive away with beautiful walks or many places to hire bicycles for a wonderful day out in the Forest. Dorset has so much to offer, too numerous to list.
