The Aquitaine region

The Atlantic coast is renowned for its white-sand beaches stretching for miles. Biarritz, Bayonne and St-Jean de Luz are among the best-known destinations for enjoying the surf and sun.

Originally tiny fishing villages, they became celebrated resorts in the 19th century when Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, made Biarritz her summer home.

From here, you can also explore the Pyrenees, the Pays Basque and even cross the border into northern Spain.

Hossegor is well known throughout Europe for its excellent golf course, its plethora of outdoor activities and its intimate atmosphere. Visitors will be delighted to discover the town and the entire Landes region, with cosmopolitan Biarritz 20 minutes to the south and exotic Saint-Jean-de-Luz just a few minutes farther.

The border of Spain is 20 minutes to the south, and Bordeaux is an hour and a half to the north. Once in residence, however, guests will find it difficult to leave the comforts of and the conveniences and opportunities of Hossegor.
