The Holiday Lettings site no longer allows us to use a guest book section, so you can see what a good time people have had in the cottage, they prefer the Trip Advisor Reviews but guests are often too busy when they get home to fill them in and so we are putting some of our guest comments below. You can see all our guest comments from the day we opened on our own website at the link below.

John and Lorinda – Thank you so much for the generous use of Sticky’s Place as a raffle prize. It really was the star prize. A great base for exploring Cornwall. Thank you for the welcome pack and your warm welcome also. Kind Regards – Sam & Phill
Sam & Abbie Parkin 19-21 August 2016

Ceri and Matthew Swanson and Ellis Cwmbran Wales 15-18 Aug 2016
We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. The welcome pack and champagne was very thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sticky’s Place and Cornwall. Perfect little retreat for us to relax and unwind after the chaotic build up to the wedding. Thank you for making it so enjoyable. Love from The Swansons.
Lisa, George & Will Sabey – 6th – 14th Aug 2016
Our second stay in this little treasure called Sticky’s Place! From the welcome and the welcome pack, our holiday was such a relaxing experience. Nigh time in the hot tub, staring up at the stars was fantastic and, yes, John, we did the seven mile walk around Goss moor! We also visited the Aviation Museum near Newquay and the Screech Owl Sanctuary – lots to do without having to travel too far. Thank you for making our holiday such a wonderful experience.
Geoff, Tanya, Charlie & Ollie 23rd – 27th July 2016
Wonderful stay here and perfect for visiting my sister and her family in Charlestown. Spent the days with small cousins on the beaches, surfing on the North Coast and then exploring the beautiful south coast around Charlestown. Geoff had to head back earlier than us
Rich & Marie Brasnett-Mellor East Yorkshire 15th – 22nd July 2016
This was our second stay at Sticky’s Place, the last time being our honeymoon in 2015 and the main reason for our return was a combination of the warm welcome, fantastic location, friendly feel you get from a break down here. John & Lorinda have made our stay such a pleasurable one where we now feel they are our personal friends and welcome to Yorkshire anytime in the future. The cottage has not changed one bit from three years ago with only minor superficial improvements, which was nice to settle back into (home from home). We will be returning for one more break in the future before John & Lorinda finally decide to take their well-earned retirement but for now it is a “huge thank you” from the pair of us and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Rich and Marie. PS missing you both already.
Michael and Dorothy Perrott – South Wales – 11th – 14th July 2016
Great welcome and welcome pack, very clean, comfortable and warm. Superb location for us. We got all over Cornwall, Sennen Cove, Truro, Perranporth, Trebarwith Strand, Blissland. All fab places like the rest of Cornwall. Clay works etc very interesting and worth more research by us. Will be back again we hope. Mike and Dorothy.

There is a small shop which adjoins the pub in the village. Nanpean has two churches and a small Chinese takeaway. All of these are within a short walking distance from Sticky's Place.
