The Dalmatia region

You are in the heart of historic Old City. This house like many others inside city walls is under UNESCO protection and it is classified as a monument.

So please pay attention to all the details inside and out.

House is very old from 1740 years, in typical style. Was first renovated at 1966 (what were the possibilities of my parents), and finally fully restored 2012 - 2013.
New are the first and the second floor with concrete slabs down and to the foundation. On the second floor, also attic, is original wooden construction as at the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, with old parquet. New bathrooms, kitchen, rooms, stone stairs with hand-forged iron railings, are constructed also 2013.
All designed personally like blend of old and new. Stone columns, mascaron with fountain, details etched in stone by hand, all done in 2013 in special stone-carving workshop.
Roof construction and attic (except walls) are new, cause this floor was destroyed during homeland war in Croatia 1991., with two field goal bombs. Through the passage in the attic ( pull attic stairs ), you can see original cypress beams from 1740. From attic windows you have a beautiful view to the symbols of Dubrovnik, like city Walls, fort "Min?eta" and "Cathedral" are. Home windows are also original from 1966, painted in Mediterranean style of fishermen cottages. External blinds-jalousie are new, painted in "Dubrovnik dark green" color.
Booth facades are injected with concrete and covered in detail each stone by hand.
Clothes drying on rope between the house`s ( west side of the house ), is also one of the "postcards" narrow streets of magnificent Dubrovnik.

I have 2 bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom near to living room and a kitchen. I also have a small attic apartment with double bed and your own kitchen and bathroom.
