A small terraced house in the "Centro Storico" of Pizzo town on the west coast of Calabria Italy (25 minutes drive from Lamezia Terme international airport
The modernised 120 year old house has three floors connected by a spiral staircase:
The large kitchen on the ground floor which also has a small bathroom/shower/washing machine and outside there is a small raised terrace for dining., the first floor has a large comfortable living room with TV /Hi-Fi and a small balcony with amazing sea views and the volcano Stromboli on the horizon, the second floor in the cosy roof space has a large double and single bed, exposed rustic roof beams and has two dormer windows.
As the house is situated at the top of the "Centro Storico" there's great views of the rest of the old town and sea -it also means parking can be found on the road two sets of steps (1 minute) behind the house.
The main "Piazza Republica" and Castle Murat is 3 minutes walk down through the winding streets and the small "marina" beach is another 4 minutes walk from there.
The shops and supermarkets are accessible in the new town on "Via Nationale" 5 minutes walk up the steps right behind/above the house.
