The North Wales region

North Wales boasts a beautiful coastline, the magnificent Snowdonia which is excellent for climbing expeditions, and the Llyn Peninsula which provides plenty of sailing opportunities.

There are many things to do, from visiting North Wales' historic castles to walking along the coastal paths and seeing the various villages en route.

The wonderful Italianate village of Portmeirion, which was designed by Clough Williams-Ellis (great uncle of the present owner of Tyn Llech) is only a short drive away.

Criccieth

Tyn Llech is situated on the edge of Snowdonia. The lovely beach at Back Rock is only a couple of minutes drive away, as is the pretty seaside town of Criccieth with it's splendid castle. We guarantee total seclusion - this is the place from where to unwind! The only noise you will hear is birdsong.
