Enchanting apartment on the second and third floors of an ancient little building , on a very quiet street in the Monti neighbourhood (About a 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum, and 5 minutes to the Colosseum) with a 70 meter terrace. This apartment is colourful and fun (not 'traditional').
The second floor contains the living/dining room, a small kitchen, a normal sized bathroom (shower only) and 2 bedrooms. (One large bedroom (Green room) with a 160cm wide bed, the other (blue room) with brand new bed (140cm wide)). New Flat Screen 32" TV!
On the third floor is another small bedroom (9 sq metres total but with a 160cm wide sofa-bed) and hallway (for storage of your personal belongings).
From the third floor you can access the very extraordinary, plant-covered terrace (70 square metres) with table, 6 chairs, gigantic umbrella and barbecue. (you can even see the umbrella on Google Earth!) The terrace furniture has recently been replaced with all wood furniture. There is also a sundeck (not shown) on top of the small bedroom (accessible by ladder), with 2 lounge chairs.
The two floors are connected by a spiral staircase.
The apartment is also a 5 minute walk to the Metro Station Cavour (but Rome is a walking city), and 5 minutes to the Via Nationale (where buses can take you directly to the Vatican)

The street is very quite, and the terrace is quite beautiful, full of plants. Hardly any cars on this street at all (2 per hour?)
This apartment sleeps 6 people, but as there is only 1 bathroom, organising showers for 6 in the morning can be time-consuming. (But definitely possible). Therefore, I always say that it's best suited for 3-5 guests.
Also, there is a winding staircase connecting the 2 floors (which some parents do not like for small children or pets).
In the heart of Rome, the eternal city.
Lazio is a rich in culture and history region full of architectural pearls, museums and remains of the ancient Roman civilisation. The name of the region originates from the ancient civilisation of Latins.
The largest and the most known communes are Rome, Latina, Aprilia, Fiumicino, Tivoli or Viterbio - all worth of visiting and spending some time in.
Perfectly located in the centre of Rome. About a 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum, and 5 minutes to the Colosseum.
The apartment is also a 5 minute walk to the Metro Station Cavour (but Rome is a walking city), and 5 minutes to the Via Nationale (where buses can take you directly to the Vatican).
The apartment is in the Monti neighbourhood. It is not the Spanish steps area but about 15 minute walk (but then that area is full of expensive shops and tourists). The Monti area is the up and coming area in Rome. Trendy, centrally located, it's Rome's hidden gem. It has tons of restaurants and specialty stores that still give you this Roman, traditional feel.
