Clintagh Cottages (Pike, Perch and Eel cottage) are family run self-catering cottages located near the historic, Georgian village of Hillsborough, County Down, in a quiet rural landscape of drumlins, lakes and islands. An ideal location for relaxing from the stresses of modern life.
The cottages have been meticulously renovated from old 19th barns, and feature exposed beams and log-burning stoves. The cottages have an old world charm, but inside you will find every modern appliance - flat screen TV, DVD player, microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer etc.
Visitors can relax and enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the area by using the private facilities at Lough Aghery (150 metres) for fishing or bird watching. The Mourne mountains and the county Down coast are within easy reach, and at just 8 miles from the city of Lisburn and 17 miles from Belfast, the cottages are ideally situated for those who want to indulge in shopping and visit Northern Ireland's capital city to see such attractions as the Titanic Centre.
