Our cosy genuine Norwegian log cabin is double glazed, heated all year round, is pet friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a carefree, self catering family holiday. In the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, set on the tranquil Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, on a hillside surrounded by mature trees with breath taking scenery and views over the Rhinog Mountains. It is the perfect place for that 'get away from it all' break.Electricity for hot water, heating and cooking is all inclusive. (No coin meters.) You will NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN bedding and towels etc unless you wish to pre-book our bed-made/linen service, details available on request. Quilts and pillows are provided along with extra blankets. ALSO :-Let us help you celebrate, with our Special Occasion Packages for Birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day,Mothers Day, Fathers Day, etc.. We can arrange to have Flowers, balloons, cake, etc. placed in the cabin for your arrival. All these can be requested directly with us via our email address which will become available once the full balance has been paid. You are welcome to bring your dog, ONE PET ONLY, There is a designated dog walking area on the park, otherwise, your dog should be kept on a lead at all times.Lots to do, virtually on the doorstep Coed y Brenin is just a quarter of a mile down the road, with FISHING and GOLF venues close by.There is a newly refurbished children's play area just over the lane from the cabin, which has swings, a climbing frame, goal posts, baseball net and picnic benches. The Village is also relativity car free so makes a perfect haven for children to make new friends and explore on their bikes.The interior layout of our cabin consists of:-Open plan lounge, with comfortable two seater sofa and two armchairs, fire. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and all cutlery a crockery including BBQ toolsThe cabin will comfortably sleep four between two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with fitted bunk beds, which sleep adults and children alike, both with heating and storage. .There is a shower room with heated towel rail, sink and toilet. Outside there is a decking area with seating, looking out over stunning mountain scenery Private garden, with full sun virtually all day, a great place to relax with a drink and top up that tan. or a safe haven to let the kids play. And just down the path, is your own, private, off-road parking space..Because there are no street lamps at night, there is no light pollution on a clear night the night sky is just breath taking,. The cabin is perfectly situated just off the A470 at Bronaber which means it is within easy reach of all local amenities and attractions,Including Criccieth Beach and Castle, visit The Blue China Tea Shop for a snack. Porthmadog is just a 20-30 min drive away, where there is an Aldi, Lidl, a 24 hr Tesco and The Ffestiniogg Railway. Porthmadog Golf Club situated in the village of Morfa Bychan, next to Black Rock Sands. Or the royal St. Davids Golf Club below Harlec Castle. Barmouth, with shops, pubs and restaurants for the grown-up's and a traditional sea-side beach front for children, with cafes, ice cream parlours and a children's fun fair, and miles of uncrowded sandy beaches, just a roughly a 30 min. car ride away, The perfect place to take the kids for a day out.With lots more to do out and about, whether it be walking, fishing or Mountain Biking (Coed y Brenin Forest and Go Ape are just a quarter of a mile down the road.) White water rafting, and quad biking, to name just a few, or just a peaceful relaxing break away. No matter what you want to do, there is something for every one.The Rhiw Goch pub and restaurant is just a short walk from the cabin. This age old pub has a warm welcome and is full of atmosphere. Serving an excellent meal, including a very good T.bone steak. Ideal for that special occasion or romantic evening out. There is a children's play area and outside seating with fabulous uninterrupted views over the Rhinog Mountains. It is, however, very popular at weekends and Bank Holidays including Christmas and New Year (with a New Year's Eve party celebration.) so you are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment. There is also a take-away and delivery menu in the welcome pack in the cabin.The cabin is available for arrivals after 2 pm. The key is held in a key safe, details of which shall be available once a booking has been confirmed.
