Comfortable, cheery first floor flat (one of 5 available) with balcony overlooking Blenheim Gardens located in Minehead, where Exmoor meets the sea. Within easy walking distance of the beach, pubs, shops and attractions such as the West Somerset Steam Railway, we are located near the start of the South West Coast Path.

The lounge, with flat-screen television and DVD player, seating for four and a single bed in use as a day bed, lets out through french doors onto a shared balcony which overlooks Blenheim Gardens and catches the morning sun - ideal for a coffee at the start of your day. An additional single bed is available. The double bedroom, with additional single bed, overlooks Blenheim Gardens to the front of the property. The flat's well-equipped kitchen looks up wooded North Hill towards the Exmoor National Park. Between the kitchen and lounge is a shower room with basin and toilet.

Included in the price of your stay are linens, electricity, water, heating. Towels can be provided for a small additional charge. Laundry facilities on the premises are available for guest use by arrangement.

We supply bed linens and kitchen towels; we do not routinely supply bath and hand towels. We can, however, provide towels at the small additional charge of £4 per person set (1 hand and 1 bath towel) - just let us know.

During the summer we book by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. Off season we can provide short breaks as availability allows.

The England region

West Somerset is a region of exceptional beauty, encompassing most of Exmoor National Park, Europe's first (andy the world's second) International Dark-Sky Reserve. Exmoor is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Exmoor ponies, red deer and birds of prey. The Exmoor coast is made up of a string of beaches interspersed with some of the highest coastal cliffs in Britain. The entire region is criss-crossed with a network of walking paths; a wide variety of active pursuits is available to visitors.

Minehead

The sea-side town of MInehead is in a sheltered valley where Exmoor gently slopes to the coast. Along the coast in both directions are some of the highest and most striking sea cliffs in Britain. Around MInehead inland lie the high open spaces, hidden valleys and scattered hamlets of Exmoor. A regular bus service connects Minehead with the outlying villages of the region. The West Somerset Steam Railway connects Minehead with Bishops Lydeard, one stop from the county town of Taunton. The South West Coast Path starts in MInehead just steps from our door and continues its 600km route around the coast to Poole in Dorset. There are many scenic walks available starting at the front steps and continuing through the town or directly up North Hill.
