The fully fenced-in villa is surrounded by a 1000sqm large garden with mature Mediterranean pine-trees in the centre of Castiglioncello. The sea is at a stone's throw from the house and makes it an ideal accommodation for beach holidays in Tuscany. No car is needed to buy fresh bread in the mornings or to reach the beach for a swim. Besides being a renowned coastal resort, awarded with the "blue flag" for its crystal clear and clean waters, Castiglioncello also offers a lively nightlife full of events and festivals from June through September. A covered patio in front of the house is furnished with table and chairs for outdoor meals and some deckchairs are scattered around the garden to enjoy the shade and the smell of the pine-trees. There are also two bicycles which guests can use for rides in the neighbourhood or perhaps to get one of those mouthwatering ice-creams offered in the "gelaterie" in town.

The region from Livorno to Piombino is called “Costa degli Etruschi”, named after the Etruscans, an ancient population who lived there before Roman times. The beaches are whiter here and hide some special places such as Castiglioncello with its imposing fortress, the Gulf of Baratti towered over by the Etruscan town Populonia, or the tiny beach of “Buca delle Fate” . No less appealing is the inland wine region where world famous wines such as Ornellaia and Sassicaia are produced.
