In the warmer months you can open the bifold doors from the living area and relax with a glass of chilled wine on the balcony, and in the winter you can turn up the underfloor heating, turn on the 42 inch smart 3d TV in the sitting room (or the TVs in either bedroom), curl up with a Nespresso capuccino and just unwind. Sandy Lane is a newly built block of seven luxury apartments. It's nestled in a peaceful leafy part of Carbis Bay, which is just off the main road leading into central St Ives 5 mins car ride away. With its own parking space you can explore the local area easily by foot, but also nip onto the A-roads and out to explore the wonders of Cornwall further afield by car. From the apartment it's a few mins walk downhill to the little train station (which takes you into St Ives) and a few minutes further down is Carbis Bay beach which is glorious all year round. We're also a few minutes walk uphill to the main road where you will find a restaurant, a great local fish and chip shop John Becks, and a Costcutters. A large Tescos is a five min walk away. If you've got little ones to keep busy then there's also a little playpark on the main road. St Ives, which is full of wonderful galleries, restaurants, cafes, shops and beaches, is a few minutes car, taxi or train ride away or 20 minutes walk along the picturesque coastal path. 6 Sandy Lane is luxurious yet cosy and homely. Sandy Lane is a great place to come and relax you can park up the car up and leave it there if you want to explore the surroundings on foot. There is golf in both directions Tregenna Castle to your right and West Country Golf club to your left both can be reached by foot in about 10 minutes . From the apartment you can pick up the coastal walk in to St Ives where you follow the sea all the way in to town and there are points along the way where you can stop and enjoy a drink and take in the beautiful views. 5 minutes walk and you will find yourself on the beautiful white sandy beach of Carbis Bay where you can enjoy the cafe with outside decking area or you can have a go a kyaking, stand up paddle boarding and sailing, with equipment all available to hire on the beach.
St Ives is a £6 journey in a taxi from Carbis Bay or a 20 min walk by foot along the beautiful coast line. Or from the apartment you can walk to the train station which takes about 5 mins to catch the push and pull train by coast in to St Ives . St Ives beautiful cobbled streets are fulled with many different varieties of restaurants definitely something for everyone , You will also find the Tate Gallery , Barbara Hepworth , Leach Pottery and many local artists work in art and jewellery. For those that would like some action you will find surfing lesson, bike hire, horse riding, lots of National Trust gardens, Minack Theatre, St Micheals mount and many more attractions .
