Built in 2004, this beautiful home is situated on an 18-hole golf resort in Inverness, Florida. This gorgeous house is situated on a 1-acre plot directly next to the golf course with lush vegetation and a private nature trail, where you can enjoy peace and quietness, to name but a few.
These are some of the reasons why we decided to buy this house. We fell in love with the location within this resort and also the countryside feel of the area appealed to us. The home is set back far from the road with a large lawn and a large driveway leading to a double garage with an automatic door. The vast number of trees on the plot provide for a relaxed atmosphere and sense of calmness.
There is direct access onto the terrace and pool area from the dining and family room through sliding doors. The area surrounding the pool consists of a covered patio with ceiling fans and a very spacious terrace (pool deck) with decorative stones and planters. There are outside table and chairs and sun loungers. The large swimming pool has a shallow-water sitting plateau and a deep-water section and is “eight-shaped”. The Jacuzzi is connected with the pool and has under-water benches. The electric pool heater can be used when necessary on request for the applicable charge in order to obtain a comfortable water temperature at all times.
The acre plot of land on which the house is situated offers a variety of landscaping as well as much space around the house for added privacy and enjoyment.

Once through the front door, you are welcomed by a hallway leading to the main open plan living area of the house, which consists of family room, dining room, extra sitting room and fully equipped spacious kitchen with breakfast counter and bar. The interior of the home has been decorated to high standards with elegant furnishings, artistic wall art and is fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom with walk-in closet and double bed is at the left front side of the house with en-suite bathroom consisting of WC, double sink, bathtub, and shower cabin. The master bedroom offers views of the golf course as well. The further 3 bedrooms are on the right side of the house all coming out into the family room area. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and also has an en-suite bathroom with WC, sink, and shower unit and direct access to the pool area. Bedroom 3 and 4 have twin beds and shared use of bathroom 3, which has a WC, sink, and shower. Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 have plenty of closet and drawer space as well. The living area and kitchen have tile and vinyl planking flooring, where the bedrooms are carpeted and the bathrooms have laminated flooring.

Bookings of 7 nights or less will incur a $75 cleaning fee.

Florida is the Sunshine State. This does not come as a surprise as the average temperature in Celsius ranges from 21 - 29 degrees meaning a fantastic climate. Florida has an immensly long coastline offering fantastic beaches.
The Florida Gulf coast in particular has some of the nicest beaches including the beautiful white sandy beach of Caladesi Island near Clearwater and the area of Citrus County offers an array of water recreational possibilities.
This Florida rental home is situated in the Lakeside golf course resort in Inverness, Florida, where the 18-hole golf course is the central area with pro-shop and a clubhouse/restaurant with bar, bistro and fine dining on-site. Inverness is located in Citrus County, which is mainly bordered by rivers and the Gulf of Mexico. Inverness is a medium size town with a historic centre about 5 minutes from the Lakeside resort.
The area is considered countryside with lots of rivers, lakes, trees and other vegetation, hence it is not surprising that Citrus County is also referred to as the Nature Coast. The name Lakeside already indicates that this resort is near to a very large lake and old oak trees and other vegetation are contributing to Lakeside’s relaxed atmosphere.
You will find all the necessary local amenities within short driving distance from the villa. Amenities include supermarkets, post office, banks, department stores, shopping, shopping mall, convenience stores, medical centre, petrol stations, fast food restaurants, bars, restaurants, tourist information centre, museum, car repair, car rental and more. The opportunities for leisure and recreation include biking, hiking, golf, swimming, canoeing, car racetrack, bowling, museum, cinema, boat rentals, horseback riding, river tours, boat trips to the Gulf of Mexico, beach, Homosassa Wildlife Park, historic sights and more.
We do recommend that you rent a car as public transport is very limited if any. There is a rental car company in Inverness, but naturally there are numerous rental car companies at the airports. If you fancy a trip to one of Orlando’s many theme parks, you can reach them by car in about 70 minutes. Attraction tickets can be arranged through the front desk at Lakeside.
