Llandudno is also worth a visit for th great Orme. Llangollen is approx 16 miles, Llangollen has a lovely steam railway and horse drawn canal boats. The drive from Ruthin to Llangollen is a very senic drive over the horse shoe pass.

Tyddyn isaf is situated one mile from the village of Rhewl, Ruthin. Rhewl has tennis courts, a local pub called the drovers, cafe called Sugar plum tea room and homeward bound antiques. Sugar plum tea rooms have the most amazing cakes !!
