White Sails is a newly refurbished traditional cottage just a minute's walk from the heart of Seahouses harbour with all the amenities, shops, bars and restaurants close to hand. This spacious property, with off road parking and free guest Wi-Fi comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 good size bedrooms, two with en-suite bath/shower rooms plus a family bathroom and has lots of nice touches and everything you need for a memorable stay, whatever the occasion. The large lounge with its huge sofas offers plenty of space to spread out and relax so, if you feel lazy, you can just sit back and enjoy this peaceful location, read or watch a DVD on the 42" Flat Screen TV. There is an open plan kitchen and dining room allowing you all to keep the 'chef' company while enjoying a glass of wine! The cottage also provides an ideal base to explore the stunning Northumberland coastline as a larger family or group of friends. The large garage is available for guests' use and can store diving equipment, bikes, surfboards etc. There is also room for a second car next to the garage in the shared courtyard.

ONE well behaved dog is welcome at this property after the 27th of August 2016, please enquire. A charge will apply. The price includes all bed linen, towels, heating and hot water.

There is a refundable damage deposit of £100 required when booking this property.

White Sails Cottage is heated by LPG gas central heating. Please be aware, there is a coin meter for the gas central heating/hot water, which is located in the small unit beneath the boiler, in the kitchen. This takes £1 coins however, please note that the owner provides a generous contribution at the beginning of each stay.

Seahouses

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.

The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.

The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
